Hyunjin once again woke up in cold sweats. This has been going on for two months. He would dream of a girl every day. She would either smile at him or ask his to follow her while she walks around on tulip field. He never saw that girl in real life. But he wishes he did. Without wasting anymore minute, he got up and made his way to his art room, where an unfinished painting of the girl stood. He walked in front of the canvas and stood there, scanning every nook and corner of the paint strokes.
"Who are you?"
But that question was never answered. He took his palette and started to mix colors to paint her hazel eyes. It had the most beautiful shades of brown and green. The gold fleeks of her eyes could bewitch anyone. He was afraid his painting could never be able to reflect the unmatched beauty of her eyes.
When he brushed the last stroke of paint on the canvas, he moved back to look at the portrait of the mystery girl. He wishes he could give life those eyes, so he could gaze into it and get lost in that abyss. Her smile was another thing that shines bright. It had the power to make anyone fall on their knees.
"I wish I could meet you, if you are real. But then again, it's impossible for such a beauty to exit on this planet earth, right? Are you an angel perhaps? Gosh am' I talking to myself now? What are you doing to me mystical girl?"
-
"Changbin hyung?"
"Yes?"
"Have you ever dreamt of a person more than one time?" Hyunjin asked Changbin, who was driving, accompanying him to the location for his next art exhibition.
"I don't think I did. Why?"
"It's just... I keep dreaming of a girl every day."
"Everyday?"
"Yeah."
"Any idea who this girl is?"
"No. Never seen her before. I don't even know if she exists."
"It might be because you keep thinki- "
"Stop, stop."
"What?"
"Hyung, stop the car please."
"Okay, wait." He moved the car towards the side of the road. Before he completely parked the car, Hyunjin opened the door and got down.
"Aish, this kid." Changbin also got out of the car.
"Yah, wait."Hyunjin was running towards the tulip field. He didn't know why he was doing it. In hopes of finding her? Maybe. It was same pink tulip field he saw in the dream.
"Hyunjina, what happened?"
"Hyung. This is the same field I saw her in my dreams."
Changbin paused for two seconds before asking: "You okay?"
"Yes hyung. I'm completely fine. Why do you ask?"
"From your behavior, it kinda looked like you hit your head or something." Hyunjin rolled his eyes at the elder's response.
"Hyung I'm being serious."
"And what are you going to do now? Wait for her?"
"Yeah."
"Really? You are waiting for a girl you never saw?"
"Hyung, I can recognize even if she's standing at the end of this field. Please, just ten minutes." Changbin sighed.
"Fine." But the 10 minutes turned to 30 minutes. And 30 minutes turned to 3 hours.
"Hyunjina, I'm going back." Hyunjin sighed for what look like his 100th of the day.
