Hyunjin tripped once again, falling flat on his butt with a loud screech.

"Tsk, Hyunjin-ah, why aren't you getting this? It's not hard." Minho said with an annoyed tone.

He sat on the dance room floor with his head hung low. Beads of sweat falling from his forehead on the floor, creating tiny puddles. He groaned, pulling the hair out of his long locks and messing his hair.

"Let's take a thirty-minute break." The leader announced before getting up and walking out of the practice room. One by one, all the members made themselves comfortable on the couch or on the floor. Sound of heavy breath filled the closed room.

Hyunjin crawled towards the table on the corner and took his phone, opening your chat right away, only to see the good morning he sent as delivered. He sighed once again and put it back on the table and grabbed the water bottle, chugging down the content in one go.

Minho walked towards the distressed younger and sat beside him, extending a towel. He took it with a grateful smile and wiped his sweat covered forehead.

"What happened to you?" Usually, you're the first one to get the moves right."

"I don't know Hyung. I just feel so... blank, if that makes sense." He shrugged.

Minho frowned. "What does that even mean?"

"Like, I don't want to do anything. Even if I tried to do something, I mess it up. You saw what happened now."

"Does this have anything to do with specific someone." He wiggled his eyebrows with cocky grin on his face.

"Hyung, it's not funny." Hyunjin whined, once again taking his phone checking, in hopes of seeing you online.

"When did she go?" "Yesterday morning."

Minho gasped. "Dude. it's barely been 24 hours and you're already a mess?"

"I know. I know. But... What can I do? It's so hard without her." His head hung low, voice barely audible.

Minho's hand went up to his shoulder, giving it a light squeeze. "Hyunjin-ah, you're getting attached to her."

"I know hyung. But I also know she won't leave me." Hyunjin looked up to the elder and gave him a full smile. He once again checked his phone, groaning afterwards. Minho understood what he was getting frustrated about.

"Okay, when was the last time you talked?"

"We facetimed yesterday night but couldn't talk for too long as her cousins rushed her to start the movie."

"She's with her family, enjoying her time with her parents, grandparents, cousins, you know how big of a family is hers. She might have slept in after watching movies all night. I'm sure she'll reply to you after walking up." He was trying his hardest to console Hyunjin, which was so unlikely of him. The rest of the members watched him playing relationship guru with a wide open mouth. "When is she coming back?"

"Tomorrow."

"Okay, let's make a deal. I'll let you take a day off for tomorrow. But you gotta learn the choreography completely by evening. What do you say?"

Minho didn't have to repeat twice, Hyunjin was already on his feet, bouncing and exclaiming loudly, "BREAKTIME OVER."

"Gosh, he's so gross." Seungmin mumbled, pushing Hyunjin off the way and walking out of the practice room.

"What did I do now?"

The evening felt particularly cold. Window of the dimly lit living room was slightly ajar, letting the chill air in. The almost inaudible sound of the room heater distracted the eerie silence of the whole apartment as Hyunjin tried to adjust the temperature of the heater to create the perfect room temperature balance of cold but with a hint of warmth, just how you liked it, smiling victoriously when he finally found the equilibrium.

He pictured your face when he lit the candle that you liked to light on cold days of the year, taking in the smell of pumpkin spice candle with closed eyes and a big smile that would bloom on your face as you step into the apartment. A smile crept upon his lips at the thought.

The 'ting' sound of the oven going off brought him back to reality as he made a beeline to the kitchen. The smell of caramelized garlic and italian seasonings filling up the air around. Excited, Hyunjin opened the oven door, sticking his hand in without a second thought, immediately retreating when his fingertips touched the tin, a string of profanities leaving past his lips. He stumbled towards the kitchen sink, running cold water over his burned fingertips. He sighed once again, remembering the amount of times he got an earful from you for not being careful with a small smile tugging on his lips.

Hyunjin finally managed to set the table without burning down the kitchen, checking everything once more to make sure it's presented well, feeling proud of himself.

All that was left now was to get ready and wait for you. He briskly walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower, while having his own concert in the shower.

The pile of clothes on the bed started to enlarge as he continued his search for the navy blue hoodie that you got him last month. "Where could it have gone?" Hyunjin started to rack his brain. A loud gasp escaped his lips, "Jeongin!" He quickly dialed the said boy's number, continuously tapping his foot as the ringing continued.

"Hello hyu-"

"Where is my navy blue hoodie?"

"Your navy blue hoodie?" Jeongin looked down at himself, feeling the soft fabric of the mentioned hoodie on himself.

"Yeah, my navy blue hoodie. I remember you borrowing it from me the other day, promising to give it back the next day itself."

"I-I'm sure I g-gave it back to y-you."

"No you didn't."

"Y-yes. Bye hyung. M-minho hyung is calling t-to continue with t-the practice" Jeongin hung up.

"He definitely has it."

Hyunjin finally settled with a black hoodie and gray sweats. He left his luscious locks as it is since you loved his unstyled hair.

He looked at himself in the long mirror once again smiling to himself, but let out a loud whine as he saw the pile on the bed through the mirror. Turning around and propping his hands on his waist, he stared at the pile, as if that would work. Letting out one more sigh, he scooped up the pile of clothes and dumped it into the wardrobe. That's a problem for another time.

He waited for you by the door, nervously tapping his foot on the tiled floor. "Gosh, why am I feeling like on a first date?" He was bouncing off the walls at the same time standing on pins and needles. Ugh! So much for meeting after three days.

"God, I almost forgot!" He dashed towards the speaker, quickly connecting to his phone and playing your both favorite playlist and came back to stand where he previously was.

His heart went frenzy as he heard the jiggling of keys from the other side of the door. The door wasn't even fully opened as you were pulled inside by an exhilarated boyfriend. You couldn't comprehend what was happening as he started to lather your whole face with kisses.

"Don't ever leave me like that." He said in between kisses. "Well... hello to you too Hyunjin-ah." He was quick to wrap his both hands around your waist, clinging to you when the showering of kisses ended.

You both walked further into the apartment as you took in everything that was prepared with glossy eyes. Turning around, you looked up to him, "You prepared all this for me?" He leaned in and booped your nose, making you scrunch your face, "Anything for you."
