chapter 9

- Jerome

We where just walking passed a clearing in the wouds when Mitch suddenly yelled in pain. I turned around to look at him. I saw him holding his hand and looking at it with a worried expression. I walked over to him.

"What happend?"

"My hand. It... The sun...It just came in the sun." I looked at his hand to see major burnwounds. It looked like he had put his hand in the middle of a fire.

"This isn't good this defenatly isn't good." I mumbled taking out some bandages to cover up his hand.

"We need to get to Seto fast."

"How long is it gonna take us." He asked.

"If we keep up the pace we might make it in a couple of hours."

"Let's go then." We started walking again. Like I said a couple hours later we arrived at the town Seto lived in. I walked straight in but Mitch stopped at the edge of the forrest.

"Jerome, I can't I'll burn myselve." I walked over to him zipped up his hoody and pulled up the hood.

"Stuff your hands in your pockets. Make sure it doesn't show skin." He nodded then followed. I knocked at house that looked like a library.

"What's the matter?" Seto asked as he opend the door.

"Jerome?"

"We need your help Seto." I told him. He then saw Mitch behind me. He nodded and walked in with us following. Inside it was pretty dark except for some tortches so Mitch pulled his hoody down.

"What happend to your hand?" Seto questioned him.

"That sorta why we're here." Jerome said to him.

"Explain."

"Mitch got bitten by a zombie, we first gave him a golden apple in hopes it would save him but it just gave him more time. Then we went on a mining spree to make a notch apple. But before we could make it, he turned so we killed him. But with the notch apple we could bring him back and he was cured again. But yesterday night he suddenly told me it was daytime while it was midnight and today the sun burned his skin." I explained as fast as I could.

"Dear lord." Seto mumbled.

"J...Jerome?" I turned around and saw Mitch shaking on his legs deathly pale. I ran over to him as he fell catching him right before he hid the ground.

"Come with me now." Seto commanded. I picked Mitch up and followed Seto as he hurried into some secret hallways.

"Place him there." He said pointing to a hospital bed kinda thing that stood in the room we just walked into. I did as told and Seto started mumbleling things and looking over Mitch and doing magic stuff I didn't understand anything about.

"You're right on time I might be able to save him." Seto said going over to some cabinets and taking out several potions and other stuff I couldn't identify.

"Please be alright." I wispered under my breath as Seto got to work.
