Chapter 19

- Mitch

Why now? Jerome just woke up, I wanna be with him. I fly away from our hole taking out the necklace from under my shirt. I noticed a little compass on it, I followed it to wher I had to go. After a couple minutes I arrived. I was in a little village high up in the trees, as I looked around I saw alot of Bacca's walking around. Is this Jerome's village? I followed the compass to where I had to go. There where alot of Bacca's gathered at the central place the compass pointing to the middle. I tried to go a little closer and get a better look on who I had to take away. In the middle there was a big and strong Bacca who seemed to be the chief. He was holding a diamond axe. Infront of him was a smaller Bacca, chained to the ground. From here it seemed to be a female. As I got closer I was sure she was female and the one I had to take with me.

"Please don't do it." She pleaded to the chief.

"You helped the traitor escape. There for you shall be punished."

"He's our son. He would never betray us."

"Jerome is no son of mine, and you're not my wife anymore." My eyes widen. Jerome's mother helped him get away and was now being killed for it. And I had to take her away. Jerome's dad held his axe above his head ready to chop his wife.

"Goodbye." He said before swinging his axe. Right before the axe killed Jerome's mother I pulled her sould out of her and put it in the jar Herobrine gave me. I watched as the body felt down bleeding. Everyone left except for the chief. As noone was in side he dropped to his knees next to her holding her in his arms and cried over her dead body. I took my necklace in my hand again and now saw a button on the side. I pressed it and was teleported into the throne room of Herobrine's castle.

"I see you have collected the soul." He said as I walked up to him. I handed over the soul and turned around to go back home.

"Oh Mitchell, do me a favor and tell your boyfriend about his mother." He started laughing as I left his castle without looking back. I teleported right back at the doorstep of our house. I was going to walk inside but I heard Jerome say something that made me stop.

"Why would he do that to me Vikk?"

"Maybe he was telling the thrut?"

"No he was lying. I know it. Do you think he's cheating on me?"

"Mitch would never do that to you."

"I know but since everything that has happend to him it's like he's changed." Jerome was crying, I could tell.

"Maybe you should talk to him about everything. Tell him how you feel. As him what's going on." But I can't tell him. Not only because Herobrine would kill him but I don't think he would believe me if I told him I was working for Herobrine to collect souls. He or would laugh at me or be scarred of me.

"When he gets back I'll ask him."

"Good luck buddy." I heard Vikk say as he came towards the door. I just flew to out balcony and sat down. I felt like crying, Jerome thinks I'm cheating on him, I can't tell him the thruth 'cause the the deal is off and Herobrine will kill him. I just really can't believe Jerome thinks I cheat on him.

"Mitch?" I heard Jerome's voice as he opend the door to the balcony. I just kept sitting where I was my back towards him.

"I heard you and Vikk talking." I told him. My voice sounded weak and a bit shaky.

"Oh." Was all he could say.

"I can't believe you would think I'd cheat on you." Saying it hurted even more then thinking it. I felt a tear roll down my cheek. I wiped it away quickly not wanting him to know I'm crying.

"It sure looks like it, Mitch."

"I'm trying to protect you." I said still not looking at him.

"How? With a necklace I've never seen before? Randomly leaving me without telling me where you're going as it starts to glow?"

"You don't understand."

"Then tell me."

"I can't!" I yelled at him turing around to look at me.

"A...are you crying?" Jerome asked. I looked down to hide my tear stained face.

"I can't tell you what I'm doing but you need to believe me when I say I do it to protect you."

"Does it have to do with Herobrine?" I nodded.

"Okay. You don't have tl tell me what you're doing just promise me you aren't cheating on me."

"I would never." Jerome smiled and leaning in for a kiss. My tail wrapped around him pulling us closer to eachother. He smiled throught he kiss and softly bit my lip. I pulled away and smirked at him before leaning to his ear.

"Let's take this inside."

Oh god I'm so nervous. I get my results from finals tommorow. I hope I passed all my classes but I doupth it :( well see ya laterz xx
