Chapter 23

- Jerome

It's been 4 months now. 4 months of Mitch going out to collect souls. 4 months of him feeling awefull about taking someone's love one away. Herobrine did give him permission to talk to me about it because it was slowly killing him to bottle everything up. Also you could start to see a small bumb form on my stomach confirming Seto's potion did work. We didn't tell anyone about it yet, but Seto was comming over today so we might aswell tell him. Mitch walked back inside the house tears streaming down his face. I walked to him and wrapped my arms around him.

"She was so small." He wispered in my chest. I sat us down on the coutch.

"What happend?" I asked him. It had become a habbid by now asking him that question when he got home.

"A mom and dad with their toddler. They were picknicing at the lake. They seemed like such a happy family. The little girl was playing around she followed some flower that blew away on the wind. At the edge of the forrest there was a skeleton. The dad saw it and ran to his girl to get her out of there but he was already too late." I didn't know what to reply to this. So I just hugged him tighter as he wiped his tears away and sniffled.

"I'm sorry." He said as he sat up straight again.

"It's fine biggums."

"When was Seto comming?" He asked changing the subject. I was gonna reply but a knock on the door cut me of.

"I think now." I told him getting up to open the door. I opend the door and there stood Seto.

"Hey Jerome."

"Hello Seto. Come in." I said opening the door a bit more. He walked in and I closed the door behind him.

"I hope you're not angry about Mitch anymore?" He asked as we walked to the living room.

"Nah dood."

"Thanks."

"Seto." Mitch greeted him as we walked into the livingroom. I saw in his eyes he still didn't trust him.

"Mitch." Seto greeted back.

"Let's take a seat shall we?" I asked. They both nodded. I sat down next to Mitch on the coutch as Seto took the other.

"So did you get my package?" Seto asked more to me.

"Yes." I awnsered.

"And?" I smiled and looked sideways at Mitch who was also smiling at me.

"It worked. I'm pregnant." I told him.

"Really?" He asked getting excited. We both nodded.

"That's amazing! It actually worked. Well congratulations to you ofcourse."

"Thanks." I said. Suddenly Mitch's necklace started to glow. He groaned.

"Not again." He wispered so only I could hear.

"I got to go." I told Seto then gently kissed me.

"Stay save." He said.

"I will don't worry." After that he left.

"Jerome? How did Mitch get that necklace?"

"Oh he, um, he bought it at the market."

"He needs to get rid of it."

"Why?"

"That's Herobrine's symbol. It means trouble." I started thinking. Maybe he knows a way out of all this.

"Seto can I ask you something?"

"Yeah sure."

"Let's say. Herobrine kidnapped me a couple months ago and forced me into collecting souls for him. If I didn't do it he would kill my friends and family. Do you think there would be a way out of that?" He started thinking.

"First off you would be screwed. Second You would be able to get out of it but that's really dangerous. You would have to challenge him into a battle with your freedom and safety of your friends and family as the price. But you'd had to kill him or atleast defeat him. And third why do you ask?"

"No reason."
