chapter 40

"Make your choise Mitchell. Your son or your husband." Herobrine said. 

"No you won't do anything to them. Please Nico snap out of it. We can defeat him togheter."

"He won't listen to you Mitchell."

"Please Nico." Mitch begged. I was still on my knees tied up not being able to do anything really. 

"Make your choise Mitchell or I'll make it for you." 

"No please, don't do anything to Nico." I said slightly sobbing. Mitch's facial expression suddenly turned. I knew what he was gonna do.

"No Mitch don't please." I begged him. 

"Kill me instead of them. That's what you want right? To make me pay. Kill me." He said. 

"No Mitch." I said crying.

"Fine if that's how you want it. Nico kill him." 

"No, No Nico please." I begged him. 

"Please don't do this. Please make him stop. Please." I begged Herobrine.

"He won't stop untill the job is done or untill I give the comment." Herobrine said croutching infront of me. 

"I suggest thinking of something to say on one of their funerals." He said then disapeared. Nico was walking towards Mitch.

"Nico please I'm not gonna hurt you." Mitch said. In that moment I already knew who I would lose. Mitch could easely take out Nico if he wanted to but he wouldn't hurt Nico, and Nico wouldn't stop untill Mitch is dead. Nico punched Mitch pretty hard sending him to the ground. He started kicking Mitch in the side as he layed on the ground. Mitch just let himselve being used as a punchingbag. I tried to get up still tied up. 

"Nico stop, fight this." I told him but he just shoved me away, I stumbled over my feet and fell to the ground. Nico had Mitch pinned to the wall choking him. You could slightly start to see Nico's eyes again. 

"Nico...I know...You're still...There." Mitch choked out. 

"I...can't...stop." Nico replied. 

"I...Know. Just know...I'm not ang...ry at you. Take...care of Da...ddy. I...I love you." And with that the glow in Mitch's eyes faded untill there was nothing left. He then passed out and Nico let his lifeless body fall to the ground. 

"Mitch! No!" I said crawling over to him, still tied up. 

"D...Dad." Nico stood behind me. He quickly untied me. I wrapped my arms around Mitch and held him in my arms crying over his dead body. 

"I...I'm so s...sorry." Nico said also crying. 

"It's not your fault." I said wrapping one arm around him. We cried in eachothers shoulders as I still held Mitch close to me. 

~At the funeral~

It was my turn to say something about Mitch. I was the last one. Nico was first telling us how an amazing dad he was. Then his father who said he knew he was destined to help then a couple of our close friends. But now it was my turn. 

"Mitch would do anything to protect us." I said to start.

"Even giving his own live. He saved me from stupid things like a bee to dangerous thing like zombies. And even though he has fysicly changed so much since I met him. Since I was able to call him mine. There was always a couple things that never changed. He always put others before him. He always searched for the best possible solution. He loved his friends and family. He put a smile on his face to not make anyone else worry about him. Those are the things that we will remember about you Mitch. These are the things that will never change. So please don't change."

I also hope you liked this story. I know I liked writing it even though I had some trouble with the last few chapters with school and stuff.

It could take a while before I actually start something new thanks to school and work but I'd really like to know what you guys want me to do. So let me know that then I can already start with thinking of some ideas and plots ;).
