❥ Chapter 7 ❥

~ Tae ~

Tae walked home with Jungkook after work.

Jungkook~"Can't you walk without me?"

Tae~"I'm not walking with you, I'm walking near you. We live right next to each other."

Jungkook~"But you could just walk on the other side of the road. It's like you chose to walk with me. Aawww, is big bad Taetae starting to like me!?"

Jungkook said that in a baby voice. Tae punched his arm.

Tae~"I didn't choose to walk with you, I chose to walk home. If I would've known that you were gonna follow me then I would've waited for you to leave first so I didn't have to walk with you."

Jungkook~"Just admit that you're starting to like me!"

Tae~"I literally hate you with all of my heart and soul."

Jungkook~"Sure, I bet you do."

Tae~"I really do. I honestly wish that you were never born."

Jungkook~"You totally like me."

They are at their apartments now.

Tae~"If I could hit you in the head with a steel pipe and watch the life slowly drain from your eyes then trust me, I would. But it's frowned upon in all 7 continents."

Then Tae went into his apartment and shut the door. Namjoon was already home.

Namjoon~"What did you say about a steel pipe out there?"

Tae~"Nothing."

Namjoon~"So how was your day at work?"

Tae~"Terrible."

Namjoon~"Why?"

Tae~"You know how our last Romeo quit and we hired a new one?"

Namjoon~"Yeah. What about him?"

Tae~"Well our new Romeo just so happens to be our annoying bitch of a neighbor, Jungkook."

Namjoon~"Ooooohhh shit. You have to work together now?"

Tae~"Yeah. And me and him got in trouble for fighting so Jimin said that if we fight again then he would fire both of us so now we have to hate each other in secret."

Namjoon~"Damn that sucks. I still think you were overreacting when he asked you to turn the music down though."

Tae~"I wasn't!"

Namjoon~"Ok ok!"

Tae~"So how was your day?"

Namjoon~"Oh, it was... Special."

Tae~"Really? How so?"

Namjoon~"Oh, umm... My students were doing really well today! They were so good at... Everything."

Tae~"Ok then?"

Namjoon~"I'm gonna spend the night with Jiho tonight. We need to talk about some stuff."

Tae~"Oh, ok. When will you be leaving?"

Namjoon~"Right now. Bye Tae!"

Namjoon grabbed a backpack and hugged Tae and then left.

Tae~"Something's up. He's acting really weird. I'll figure that out tomorrow."

Tae flopped down onto the couch and opened Instagram. As he was scrolling through his feed he found Jungkook's account.

Tae~"Wow, that little whore is also on Instagram? I wonder what he posts about."

Tae clicked on his account. There were a lot of pictures of him and his roommate. And dancing. And theater stuff. Tae scoffed.

Tae~"Tch. He's such a normie."

He looked at one of his pictures. It was of Jungkook sitting on a swing in a park. He looked pretty good in that picture. When Tae went to scroll, he accidentally liked the picture.

Tae~"Oh shit! No no no no no! He's gonna see that I liked his picture!"

Tae took the like away and prayed that Jungkook didn't see that.
