The smell of coffee woke Lucy of her dreams, and she rubbed her face, groaning as she touched last night's tear-stained cheeks.
Her head turned when she realized Tim wasn't holding her, though quickly, she calmed down once noticing his presence in the kitchen.
I kissed Tim last night.. he's technically my boss...
Memories of her confessing to Tim of what Max did to her flooded Lucy's brain. Flashes of Tim telling her that she wouldn't ever be hurt by Max again. That he would protect her from Max until he rot in a cell.
Her eyes enlarged at the memory, and she hid her face behind a pillow, praying Bradford hadn't noticed her watch him.
Tim hummed a little song, turning to flip the pancakes he had prepared to Chen. The coffee was set on the table, and his uniform shirt was back on.
Lucy eventually came up from the small hole she swore she dug herself in, scanning the kitchen. She met eyes with Tim, her cheeks immediately blushing.
"Morning," Tim spoke loud enough.
"Morning!" Lucy responded, fast to her feet. She walked over to her bedroom, quick to brush her teeth and dress into some actual clothing.
She splashed her face quickly before joining Tim, exiting her bedroom with a pair of leggings and a blue, loose long sleeve. Her hair was out, tied in a crown.
"Hey," Lucy's smile was shy as she inched closer to him. Tim set down the pancakes, stacking them onto two plates. Lucy joined his side, arm holding up her head as she looked over to him.
"You going back today?" Lucy shoved a fork of berries into her mouth.
"Just to return the shop, Angela dropped my car off at the station. I thought I would stop by my house though, if that's okay?" Tim sipped his coffee, turning to face Lucy.
"That's okay, I've got that appointment with my doctor anyway. You think Jackson wants to be here? I mean, I know him and Sterling are always together, but this is his house too." Lucy tilted her head.
"I checked up on him today, brought him some stuff he wanted. He's staying there as long as necessary. If you want, I could tell him to come back tonight or tomorrow morning."
Lucy though about it, figuring Tim wasn't going to work until tomorrow, and decided that Jackson would come home the next morning. If I want to get closer to Tim, this is my chance.
"Hey, if you want I could drop you off there?" Tim spoke when he saw her finish the rest of the scattered berries around her plate.
Lucy nodded, downing her coffee and placing the dishes in the sink. She licked her lips, removing the sticky syrup before walking away from the kitchen.

"Thanks for driving me here. Do you need anything before I leave?" Lucy opened the door to the shop.
"No, I'll be okay. I'm gonna go drop off the shop and pick up my truck. Maybe stop by the house. I'll be here when you're finished." Tim smiled. Lucy shut the door, making way to the hospital.Tim removed his uniform, putting on whatever he had in his locker. He quickly waved to Grey, then made way to the parking lot.
Quickly entering his home, he rushed for his bedroom.
Lucy Chen kissed me. Last night when were on her sofa.
Her lips were soft, the most perfect shade of red and pink, cushioned perfectly.
Her perfect brown eyes replayed in his head, with her rosy cheeks and pretty smile.
Tim grabbed his phone again, beginning to scroll through his photos. His thumb stopped when he hit an album named "Best Boot."
