Broken {Embry Call}

Chapter 1

I was walking to school in this rainy morning when my best friend Seth decided to surprise me by behind.

Me(scream in surprise): what the hell ! (See Seth) oh my god you dumbass don't scare me like that ! (Give him a playful punch on the arm) you nearly gave me a heart attack !

Seth(chuckles): maybe but you're face was priceless !

I roll my eyes while smiling and we continue our way to school. Once we're in we go to our lockers before going to class. Since Seth is a year younger then me we separate for our classes. I go in my 8th grade classes of the day which are science, history, algebra and geography. During lunch me and Seth eat together and after it we go yet again our separate ways for the afternoon. After class we walked back to his house and did our homework's together as we usual do since it's quieter for me to do them here plus Sue is a great cook so most of the time I stay for dinner except when dad absolutely want me to eat with them. I love my dad and Rachel they're great cooks but nothing beats Sue's cooking. After homework's and dinner I walk back home and find my dad and my brother Jake watching baseball.

Me(going to my room): hey

Jake(smile): hey baby sis

Dad(smile): how was your day at school sweetheart ?

Me(smile coming back into the leaving room): it was good

Dad: Good to hear oh tomorrow Charlie's daughter Bella is coming back to live to Forks so me and Jake are going to go to Charlie's with the red pickup which is actually a welcome gift for Bella that your brother got to go back onto the road you want to accompany us ?

Me: I don't know dad maybe we'll see tomorrow I'm gonna go take a shower and then I'm gonna read in my room

Dad: alright then

I go into the bathroom and take out a towel before starting to undress. I get in the shower and open the water letting out a small sigh as I feel the hot water going down on my body making it relax. While I'm showering i sing one of my favorite songs called Hallelujah by Tori Kelly. Once I'm done i get out of the shower after stopping the water and take the towel i had taken out earlier and wrap it around my body. I then take the clothes i had on for the day an go into my room which is right in front of the bathroom. I close the door of my room behind me and put my clothes in my dirty laundry basket and go over to my wardrobe picking out a pyjamas for the night. Once i have it on i sit down to my makeup desk and take out my hairdryer before starting to dry my hair. Once I've dried my hair I brush them and then go over to my small library and pick out a book before going to sit on my bed and starting to read.

An hour later

Knock knock knock

Me(put my bookmark between the pages): come in

Dad(opening the door): hey sweetheart

Me(smile): hey dad

Dad(stopping his wheelchair besides my bed): I know you don't like Bella very much so if you don't want to come i understand

Me(smile): thanks dad... honestly if i was to come i think it would ruin the mood so i think it's best if i don't go

Dad(smile): that's ok then tomorrow you'll be alone here until about 9pm since Rachel is sleeping over at Paul's and well Rebecca is in Hawaii with her husband... please do wait longer then your sister before getting married

Me(chuckles): don't worry dad it's most likely not going to be for another few years

Dad(chuckles): good then (kiss my head) good night Phoenix
