Broken {Embry Call}

Chapter 2

I put my phone back in my pocket before walking out of the school to my house. I put my earphones in my ears and put my favorite track of songs. After walking for a while I finally get home I walk inside and take off my earphones out.

Me: dad I'm home !

Dad: in the kitchen Phoenix

I walk over in the kitchen and find my sister Rachel in the kitchen with my dad cooking and sneak behind her and snatch a taste of what she's doing with a finger.

Rachel: Phoenix ! You know the rule not before it's in YOUR plate

Me(chuckles and kiss her on the cheek): love you too Rach !

I walk over to the leaving room and find my brother and Paul talking.

Me(smile): Hey Paul !

Paul(get up with a smile and hug me): hey little Black ! (Let me go and sit back down) So how was school ?

Me(smirk): fun for once I got to argue with my history teacher

Dad(get into the leaving room): talking about that I got a call from the school telling me how you were talking back to your teacher

Me(roll my eyes): he was wrong I was right he gotta get over his big ass ego

Rachel(from the kitchen): No swearing Phoenix

Me(chuckles): sorry Rach

I walk over to my room and put my bag on my bed before getting changed into my surf suit. I walk back into the leaving room and help my sister set up the table.

Rachel(see me in my surf suit): you're not seriously going surfing with a temperature like this

Me: so what a bit of cold won't kill me Rachel

Rachel(scoff): fine but don't come complaining to me when you get a cold

Me(roll my eyes with a smile): yeah yeah I know

We finish setting the table up and everyone come sit down with us. We serve ourselves before starting to eat. Honestly I don't understand Jake one second him and Paul can be like the best of friends and the other they give each other darting looks like they hate each others. We ate while talking and once we're done the my brother and Paul deserves the table and go do the dishes while I get up and put some shoes on before walking out of the house to go grab my board in the garage. I get my board and start to walk into the forest towards La Push. I get there and walk up to Seth who's with Jared and freaking Embry I swear that guy is annoying as hell. I walk up to them board under my right arm.

Me(smirk): 'sup losers

Seth(hug me): hey idiot (point to the girls in the van) oh you probably saw Bella since she got here right ?

Me(look at him with a 'seriously' look): No I haven't actually (look at Bella) you probably don't remember me but I'm Jacob youngest sister Phoenix

Bella: right yeah Jake told me a bit about you you're a year younger than him right ?

Me(nod): yeah (look at Seth) I'm going to surf see ya later loser !

I run off with my board and jump into the water.

After a while I get back on the sand and let my board down on the sand before laying down on it.

Seth(walk up): you know I don't get how you can just lay there not being cold

Me(sigh): oh believe I am but I ignore it

Jacob(walk up to me): Phoenix Black you better dry yourself and put some more clothes on

Me(roll my eyes): fine (sit up) ugh you guys are so annoying !

I get up and take my board going back up where the vans are parked.

Jared(throw me a towel): I suggest you dry yourself before you catch a cold

Me(catch the towel and start to dry myself): yeah yeah yeah heard that couple of times already

Jared(chuckles): yeah I bet (hands me a sweater) here put that on you'll be warmer then in just that suit

Me(put the towel down and grab the sweater): thanks is it yours ?

Jared(smirk): nah it's Embry but don't tell him or he'll kill me

Me(smirk): that could be fun to watch you know what I could also just make sure that he sees me (walk over to the stairs) you know by yelling HE-

Jared(put his hand on my mouth and drag me back to the van): don't you dare Phoenix

I mumble before biting his hand he let's go with a small yelp which makes me chuckles. I put the sweater on and grab my board and put it against the van and sitting down besides Jared. We talk for a while until Seth and Embry walks up.

Embry(frown): is that my sweater ?

Me(smirk and look at Jared): yeah a little gift from your goooood friend Jared

Jared(baffled): you snitch

Me(chuckles): I told you I wanted to see that

Embry(mumbles): why mine Jared you could have gave her yours or Quill's

Jared(roll his eyes): it was the closest one she would have froze to death

Me(get up): No I wouldn't ha- (grab my head) fuck Damn it stupid headache

Seth(frown): since when do you get headaches?

Me(frown and take a step towards my board to grab it and nearly fall but Embry catch me): shit

Embry(frown): take it easy there tiger

Me(take a deep breath and smack his hands away from me): I can stand up myself thank you very much

Embry(raise his hands in surrender): if you say so

I close my eyes and take another deep breath before standing up straight and grabbing my board while opening my eyes.

Me(starting to walk away): I'm going home thanks for the sweater Embry !

I can hear Embry groaning probably in annoyance which makes me smirk. I continue to walk into the forest and finally get home after a few minutes of walking. I leave my board in its usual place in the garage before walking into the house and going straight for the bathroom. I take a shower before getting into my pyjama and starting to do the little homeworks I have.
