"Congrats anak! We're proud of you! Don't worry we're planning to go back at Philippines this month!" My mother informed us in vedio call.

Napangiti na lang ako, bumaling ako ng tingin kay dally, She's mama's girl, I missed my mom and dad.

"Congrats girl, grabe nas genes na ata natin ang pagiging maganda at matalino." Puri ni thea.

Abala ang lahat sa dinning for dinner, pababa na ako sa hagdan habang hawak ang cellphone 'ko, ka text 'ko kasi si Joshin, ewan 'ko ba dito parang tanga update ng update every minute.

"Naka ngiti while nag ce-cellphone, iba kana." Kinurot niya na mahina ang tagiliran 'ko.

Agap 'ko naman tinakpan ang bibig ni thea ang ingay! "Uy, Parang tanga! Baka may makarinig sayi!" Natarantang sabi 'ko.

Natawa na Lang siya at sumabay sa akin papunta sa dinning, tahimik Lang kaming kumakain, si mamita, tita kariel, thea, dally and me lang ang nasa dinning asual.

"I heard naka pasok ka daw sa dean lister cally," Mamita broke the silent.

Napangiti ako, Because I'm proud of it, pinag hirapan 'ko 'yun e, agad akong tumango "Opo, top 5." I said politely.

I saw her no expression face and focusing her eye on her plate, hinihiwa niya ang steak. Nag kagat labi ako.

Tita Kariel smiled "I'm so proud of you cally, what gift do you want me to give you? We should celebrate its a big achievement." Tita look so proud on me. Agad akong ngumiti.

Agad ding napawi ang ngiti 'ko ng nag salita si mamita "You should keep it up nextime to be frist top list dean lister, Masyadong mababa ang top five para ikasaya." She snorted in strickly voice without expression on her face. "We are higher than that." Habol niya pa.

Hinawakan ni thea ang kamay 'ko, she looked at me and smile, maharan niyang pinisil ang palad 'ko, her eyes asking if I'm okay, I gave her a warm smile para ipakita na okay lang ako.

I gulps, groaned inwardly I felt like breakdown inside me nung marinig 'ko ang mga 'yun, she didn't even congratulate me for being a top five dean lister. Isn't proud? I'm doing my very best.

We all have dreams and desires that we want to achieve, but it's easy to get stuck in a cycle of passivity and self-doubt. We often let fear and uncertainty hold us back from pursuing what we truly want in life. But the truth is, if we don't take action and go after our goals, we'll never achieve them. It's time to get clear about what you want and start taking steps toward it.

Mamita can manipulate everything her under control. I did my all best to be a top five, o maka sali lang sa dean lister. But still not enough to hit her expectations and standard. Its too high to for me, hindi 'ko ata kayang abutin.

But Don't let anyone else walk over you or make you feel like your dreams aren't worth pursuing. Remember that you have the power to create the life you want, but it starts with taking action and refusing to be passive. Don't let fear rob you of the amazing life you deserve. Go out there and make it happen. Pero habang nasa puder ako ni mamita, she can manipulate me. Because she has a power to do that.

"Why her standard are so high?" I asked out of now where.

"You did you best cally," Someone talking at my back.

I breathed, Ganito rin ba ang nararamdaman ni mommy when her age? Napatingin ako kay Tita na tahimik lang sa gilid. Being student is hard process of success and we need to deal with it.
