Felix's POV

"One week," he said. One week to show me how much he loved me.

I put my things away in the drawers, and as I returned to the kitchen, I paused to watch Hyunjin with his back turned, mixing something in a bowl.

He was powerful, a dark beauty capable of diminishing any guy within tens and tens of meters. His towering stature, features that seemed as if painted by an artist, and a physique sculpted by gods. He was perfect, even from behind, and he knew it, knew he was my weakness.

Instinctively, I approached and embraced him from behind, wrapping my arms around his waist and resting my cheek against his back.

He stayed silent, continuing to prepare the cake, yet I could feel his heartbeat racing, a sweet melody I could dance to.

He placed his hands on mine, clasped around his waist.

"The cake will be ready soon," he announced.

"Then I'll go take a shower," I replied. I pulled away from him and headed down the hallway, but before taking more than a few steps, he grabbed my wrist and swiftly turned me around. I collided into his chest, blushing deeply.

He held me in his grip, and my heart began to race faster.

He leaned in, pressing his lips to my neck, sending shivers down my spine as I clenched his shirt in my fists. I rose on my toes to deepen the contact, and he parted his lips, softly licking my skin.

Caught off guard by the surprise and excitement, I involuntarily moaned, placing a hand over my mouth the instant after, embarrassed. I felt Hyunjin smile against my neck, probably due to my reaction.

Dazed, I pulled away from him and rushed to the bathroom, closing the door behind me. Leaning against it, I slid to the floor with ragged breaths. Oh god, damn it. How embarrassing. Now I felt like crying, and the return wasn't what I had expected. Nothing is as I expected.

I took a cold shower to wash away the tension, changed, and joined Hyunjin in the kitchen, where he was setting chopsticks and plates on the table for the cake. The dessert was there, steaming in the pan, a chocolate cake that seemed perfectly baked.

How many calories...?

"Sit down, I won't eat you," he said as he moved to clean the kitchen countertop. I took a seat, but the thought of eating made my stomach clench.

"Do you want a slice?" he asked.

"Um, I'm not hungry right now, maybe I'll have it tomorrow or..." I whispered, trying not to meet his gaze, but when he sat down in front of me and gave me an accusing look, I froze, suddenly feeling my throat go dry.

"Eat," he ordered me.

"I had a big lunch, I-I don't need it," I whispered. Why was I whispering, though? Why couldn't I look at him and talk to him face to face? I felt myself trembling under his gaze.

"Felix, eat," he emphasized each syllable of the last word, and I felt an urge to get away from him.

He snapped to attention, moving slowly in his chair, was he about to get up? Well, then it's better to escape. With a sudden movement, I stood up from the chair and, with my heart pounding, started running around the house, closing doors behind me to slow down Hyunjin.

I heard him get up at the same speed as me and chase after me. As soon as I lost him, I dashed into my room and hid in the corner under the desk. Now I just had to hope he wouldn't find me.

After a good minute during which I heard him searching in other rooms, he opened the door to the bedroom. He looked around and opened closets, peering inside. I took advantage of that moment when he had his back turned to stand up, left my hiding spot, and grabbed the doorknob, convinced of my victory.
