20. Solution

             I began by dedicating some of my spare time to assisting my classmates with their schoolwork. We would then either join or create study groups to prepare for exams and presentations. Additionally, I actively participated in various campus events as a volunteer. 

             I chose this approach instead of causing a scene by taking revenge or resorting to physical force just to show 'dominance'. Not only that but this would just add fuel to the rumors more, and then I would be the one ruining my own image.

            Just within a month, the rumors eventually began to fade. While there might still be a few people who occasionally mentioned those rumors, I was content knowing that I had managed to demonstrate that I was not the person those rumors painted me to be. I showed them that I had made it to this point through my own dedication and with the support of my loved ones.

             As a result, numerous people began to approach me and disregarded those who still believed the rumors. Because of that, I've met quite a lot more people who became my acquaintance, and to my surprise, I even received a few love letters from fellow students. However, as my primary focus was on my studies, I politely declined all of their advances.

             Fast forward to a couple of years later, I graduated from college with Summa Cum Laude Honors...
