             I felt a mix of emotions squirming inside me as I looked at her, but still... I nodded, trusting her words. "Alright, Ms. Phrien. I'll wait for your explanation... Thank you..." I quietly sighed.

             As always, Ms. Phrien couldn't tell me anything about my parents' whereabouts or why they left. 'Did they do something bad that they had to leave so they could hide? Or maybe... they didn't really want me, so they left... me...' Because of these... thoughts, I didn't even have the energy to fake a smile in front of her.

             My living room fell dead silent until Ms. Phrien decided to break the silence. "I-I think that is enough for today... I'm so glad that nothing bad had happened to you after your accident earlier." She said with a gentle smile.

             "But let me know if you still have any more questions about being a cubus, and I'll be happy to explain it to you further. For now, though, you need to take a rest. You've had an eventful day with your accident and also the discovery of being a cubus. Adjusting to life as a succubus takes time, and learning everything won't happen overnight. It's hard to learn everything in just a day, so it's better to take a break for now and continue next time." Ms. Phrien said as she gently patted my shoulder, to which I responded with a smile.
