             "Oh, I'm good for today, Sheila. No need to worry about it. There's not much work to do, so... there's no need for your assistance at the moment." She replied with a gentle smile. As always, Ms. Phrien's response remained consistent with her warmth and kindness, which never changed. Even though her reassuring demeanor made me feel a little better, I still couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed when she declined my offer to help her.

             "Alright... I'll wait for you in my apartment then. Thanks, Ms. Phrien." With nothing else to say, I awkwardly turned away and left her alone as I made my way to my apartment. Once inside, I occupied myself with a bit of housework, tidying up the living room and organizing some papers that had piled up during the week. After that, I settled on the couch, flipping through channels on the TV to pass the time until my scheduled meeting with Ms. Phrien.

             Ever since my succubus incident and our last chat about it, I have noticed that Ms. Phrien has been distancing herself from me by refusing any help I offer. When I asked her about this, she would always simply respond that she just had no current tasks for me.

             I really wanted to know why she's been acting... weird and awkward around me but... instead of pressing the issue further with her, I let her know that if she needed any help whatsoever, she could call for me and I'll come right away. I wanted to show her that I'm always available to offer my help to her, but I also didn't want to come across like I wanted to push myself on her or bother her work when my help wasn't needed.
