Chapter 10
July 25, 2015
_____He couldn't believe that he had kissed her.
He, himself, was just as shocked as she was.
But at the same time, he didn't regret it at all.
It was the sweetest, most passionate kiss that he had ever received from anyone.
And god knows that he had, had his fair share of kisses. Most of them coming from girls at a bar or a night club that he would often go to, just to get his mind off of life.
But since he had first seen Ella, he hadn't been back to any kind of bar or club.
Which felt good, but odd at the same time. Odd only for the fact that one girl gave him what almost could be described as power to stay away from troubling things, such as those.
None of his friends really understood how much he liked Ella, even though any time he was with them, he wouldn't quit talking about her.
For the first time in his life, since kissing Ella, he was truly, genuinely happy.
Tonight, he was taking Ella with him to a Valentines Day banquet that the school was having.
It was only the 9th of February, but the school always had it early.
And because Ella had asked him to be her date to the 'Valentines Day Dance' at the high school, which was being held actually on Valentine's Day.
The dinner was formal, so he wore his best clothing, which was a pair of black slacks, and a blue long sleeve button down shirt, accented with a white sweater vest.
Once he had finished cleaning up, he texted Ella that he was on his way.
He got into his sleek black mustang, driving carefully through town.
She only lived about 5 minutes away from him, which he was thankful for.
Because then he could go see her any time he wanted.
He had thought a few times about how wrong it may look to people, a young girl with an older man.
But he didn't care. He loved this girl.
He got out of his car, leaving it running so that it would be warm when she got in, and walked up to the front door.
Rebecca walked out before he even had the chance to ring the doorbell, wearing a pain of pajama bottoms, and a white t-shirt.
"Look here 'Bucky-Mick-Boing-Boing', you be the perfect gentleman. You open the doors for her, and you hold her when she walks so that she doesn't fall. It's slick out, so drive with extreme caution. Don't you even think about taking advantage of her, and you're only allowed 2 kisses. Anything that you do to her that isn't right, I will do to you. And have her back by 8."
He nodded, as if he truly was listening to what she was saying.
He knew she would be getting more than just 2 kisses tonight.
Ella's beautiful voice was heard, as she told her mother goodbye, then laughed at her sister.
"Rebecca, he's not your date. Maybe those are your rules, but they're not mine." Ella said, sending her sister back into the house.
But not before hugging her.
She looked perfect to him.
Her dress was long and flowing. It was a black dress, adorned with jewels on the top part of the dress.
"Wow" he said, taking in her beauty.
"You look amazing." he continued, offering her his hand.
She gladly took it, and looked up at him.
He loved it when she looked at him like this. With so much depth and curiosity in her eyes.
Her hair was curled, and falling perfectly around her shoulders.
Before he could stop himself, he leaned down, and kissed her deep red colored lips.
Her hands found their way to his chest, as their one kiss became multiple kisses.
They were interrupted by a banging sound, making them both look up to see Rebecca looking through a window, a warning expression on her face.
"Just ignore her. She's annoying." Ella said as they walked towards his car.
He laughed. "She's just looking out for her big sister. Although that's sort of my job."
He opened the door for her, and helped her in.
"How is that your job?" Ella asked once he had gotten into the car.
"Because you're my girl. I'm here to protect you, and do whatever I can to help you, and keep you safe."
She smiled at him. "I'm your girl?"
He nodded, leaning over the console, pecking her lips once. "You're my girl."
