Chapter 15
July 26, 2015
_____Zayn sat on her couch, trying to get his ex to quit texting him.
But it seemed helpless and pointless, because she was relentless.
Even when he sent, "Stop texting me. I have a girl"
She then just proceeded to bad mouth Ella, when she didn't even know her.
Ella had left a few minutes ago, saying that popcorn was a must for any and every movie.
He could hear her in the kitchen, and he decided to go and see if she wanted any help.
Her back to him, he wrapped his arms around her, resting his chin on her shoulder.
"Hi" he said.
She smiled, "Hello, amor"
"Ugh, don't start Spanish with me. There's a reason I failed most of my Spanish courses, that being, I'm not at all good."
"I'd bet you are. You don't give yourself enough credit. Grab a bowl, and let's go get teary-eyed."
He chuckled, but followed her back into the living room.
About halfway into the movie, Ella laid, with her head on his shoulder.
Their fingers intertwined.
She had already cried a few times, but it was now approaching the scene in Amsterdam, where Augustus tells Hazel Grace that he was made of cancer.
Zayn looked down at the girl in his lap, watching as her eyes became glossy looking, and a few tears slid down her cheeks.
Although it was sad, her crying was the cutest thing he was sure, that he had ever laid eyes on.
About 30 minutes later, Augustus' pre funeral was playing on the screen, making them both feel tears well up in their eyes.
Her small figure was shaking ever so slightly, as she cried into his shirt.
He held her, with his face buried in the crook of her neck as he shamelessly let the tears fall.
Soon, she was in his lap, still crying fiercely.
He rubbed her back, in an attempt to comfort her, but not succeeding very well.
"Baby, it's okay." he soothed.
Her hands fisted his shirt, and soon, she was placing kisses to his shoulder and neck.
She didn't know where the kisses came from, or why she had gotten so emotional over the movie.
But she did know this much; if she ever lost Zayn, she would lose herself.
