(Lydia's POV)
I was sat across from Levi discussing my final desicion.
"I've decided to work as your Head Hunter permanently, as long as I can still run my own business on the side." I told him and he nodded.
"I am so glad that you took my offer and of course you can still run your busines. I'd never stop you doing that. Also, I was wondering if you'd want to live here?" he asked and I thought about it.
"I wouldn't mind a room in the packhouse for sometimes, but I probably will live in my own house." I replied and he nodded with a smile.
"Of course that'd be great, all we need to do is get your mind link with the rest of the pack sorted and what time you want to start your training of the hunters." he said to me and I nodded and we began making plans. So yeah, I decided to join Dark Claw. I liked it here and I got to live my dream when it came to being just like my mother. I'd still live at home, I'd still spend time with Darla, I'd still run my business. I'd still have my own life outside this pack. We agreed that the Hunters will train every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday with me from 10:30AM-16:30. Rain or shine. It's the only way that they'll improve. I'd work at the store on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, so they'll go through tactics as well as train with the Trackers, so yeah they don't really get any rest, but they'll get used to it. It'll be hard at first. They'll want to give up and they'll hate every second of it, but they'll get used to it. They would have a very specific schedule of training for each day.
Monday:Endurance training, 6 hour run (preferably non-stop, but I'm not a monster, they can have a 10 minute break each 2 hours)
Tuesday:Going over tactics and strategies
Wednesday:Sparring with each other (and maybe me)
Thursday:Speed training with the Trackers
Friday:Endurance training (hike/run through the mountains for 6 hours)
Saturday:Going over martial art skills
Sunday:Capture the Flag (to see how they have improved).
It's a exstensive program and they'll be working hard like this every week. But I'll encourage them throughout it and be proud of whatever the impact is. We finished planning and I was about to leave when Levi asked me something.
"Hey Lydia, do you wanna go out and get some lunch?" he asked me rubbing his nape. He looked nervous, but I found it cute actually.
"I'd love to, where do you reccommend?" I asked him curious.
"There's a diner not too far from here. Only about a 15 minute walk. The food there is some of the best I've ever had." Levi said excited and getting up from his seat. I grabbed my jacket and followed him out his office. In the past week, me and Levi have become actual friends. Regardless of him being my Alpha now. We had become friends. I liked him to be honest. He was a good man. He was sinfully hot, he was kind, he was a good leader and he was funny. He generally made me laugh. That and he didn't flirt with me too much. He flirted with me a little and I liked it. It wasn't overbearing. Other guys I had tried to be friends with had aggressively flirted with me a lot. And it pissed me off. I wasn't looking for a relationship or my second chance mate, but I wouldn't have minded if my second chance mate turned out to be Levi. Alright, I had a little crush on him, but I don't know if he even liked me like that. Still he had his second chance mate out there too. And it probably wasn't me. We walked and talked happily nd it didn't feel long until we came up to a cute 80s still diner.

We went inside and were greeted by a cheery old woman.
"Alpha Levi, oh you brought a friend today. You must be the new Head Hunter, I heard about from my granddaughter." She said with a smile and I smiled back at her.
"It's lovely to meet you," I replied and she smiled and lead us to a booth in the corner.
"I'll have someone come and take your orders, it shouldn't be too long," she said with a smile and left.
"It's so cute in here," I told Levi and he chuckled.
"Yeah this place has been open since I was young. I used to come here for breakfast every Sunday with my parents. I still do when they aren't travelling around the world." he told me and I smiled.
"That's so nice. I do something like that with Darla. I see her as a sister, so every Saturday we go to a Starbucks and have a coffee together." I told him. We talked some more, looked through the menu and then around 5 minuted later a  middle-aged looking waitress came to our table.
"Alpha Levi, Miss Lydia, what can I get you?" she asked with a southern twang to her voice.
"Please you can just call me Lydia and I would like the cheeseburger with fries and a strawberry milkshake please." I told her as she wrote it down.
"I'll have the buffalo wings with fries and I'll have a strawberry milkshake too." Levi answered and the waitress made note again. She walked off to the kitchen leaving me and Levi alone again. We joked and talked happily until our food arrived.

I began eating and whn I took my first bite in my burger, I think I transitioned into heaven for a minute. It was so fucking delicious.
"Holy crap, it is so fucking delicious!" I exclaimed and Levi laughed.
"I told you it was good." he said chuckling at me. We had a delicious lunch together abd I learnt a little bit more about Levi as a person. We actually had a lot in common. He liked biking, playing video games, watching anime and hiking just like me. Turns out he loved being out in nature just like me. It was crazy how much we had in common. I paid for my food and then said by to Levi and headed down to my store. It was a Sunday, so it was actually pretty quiet, but I wanted to check on Alfie. I have this weird maternal urge to protect him like he's my little brother. He's such a sweet kid. He was one of the ones who would work hardest in training and I trained like he was a protege. To be honest he practically was. He always put in 100% and he would always ask me for tips and questions. I think I'd trained him to be the next Head Hunter after me. I was already thinking about what I could and how I could help some more. I guess maybe I was little excited.
I hope that you enjoyed this chapter my lovely angels. Next chapter will be a year timeskip. See you next Monday, love you guys, blessings and peace.
xoxo
