(Lydia's POV) It's been 2 months since the Nightmare attack and just as the season and weather has changed, so has the mood between Shadow Paw. It has been tense. Tense between me and Scarlett. Tense between me and Ezra. Tense between all of Shadow Paw and Scarlett and Ezra because their pack weren't happy when they heard about how they endangered their comrades and ran away. Anthony and Nova don't talk to Ezra anymore and they don't show up at any meetings anymore. It's been a tense couple of months, but we're are at the halfway mark of the training programme, so we decided to stay. After the Nightmare battle, and me making sure my brother, Stella and niece/nephews got home safe, we had an entire pack meeting. We did a democratic vote. Should we go home? Should we stay? Surprisingly everyone voted to stay, so that's what we're doing. My brother is back to full health with no complications just like I knew he would be. Stella teared up when she saw him awake and it sent a pang of sadness yet relief through me. The kids were just as relieved and jumped on him when he woke up. They were terrified that they could lose their dad and I get it. Regardless things have been going alright I guess. Ezra has been trying to make up for almost killing my brother by sending me gifts. I'm talking perfume, flowers, chocolates, sweets. He's obsessed. It's really pissing me off and my pack. Especially my brown haired Alpha. He's had just about enough, but I've kept him from killing Ezra. Plus it's his birthday tomorrow and I'm going to take him on a birthday date and tell him that I want to be with him. I have no idea how he'll respond, but I'll shoot my shot.

(Levi's POV) The last 2 months have been tense. There is just a stifling tense atmosphere over the pack. I was going to vote for us to leave Shadow Paw. We stayed for a month and we helped them a bit, we can go now, but Lydia wanted to stay. That surprised me after what she's been through, I thought she would have wanted to leave, but she insisted on staying. One reason was that she wanted to give her brother some more time to get prepared to move and she wanted to help out with the pack generally. She didn't want to leave the pack in danger. She generally cared for the safety of others. I loved that about her.
