(Lydia's POV)
My heat was finally over and fuck was I sore. We let our instincts take over and we just kept going until my heat finally dampened. My mate mark has stopped hurting and it's now there's a small moon mark between my shoulder and neck. Levi has one too in the place I marked him. We were heading back to Shadow Paw today. The storm is still raging, but it's not as bad in the morning. It hits its peak usually around 2pm. We were just packing up a couple of our clothes and then we were going to go out to have breakfast. While I was zipping up my bag, Levi came up behind me and snuggled his face into my neck. I chuckled and ruffled his hair.
"Hey baby, what's up?" I greeted him.
"Nothing, I just wanted to hold you," he replied into my neck leaving kisses around my mate mark making it tingle and making me give a soft moan.
"Stop it, my legs are already dead and we're nearly ready to go, we're not about to have sex again." I replied flicking his forehead.
"Would it really be so bad if we stayed here a little longer?" he whined and I rolled my eyes.
"Yes, we said we'd be back today and we need to get back before the storm. Plus how are you still horny." I replied and I heard him chuckle deeply.
"It's not my fault that I have the sexiest mate in the world." he said into my neck and I just giggled. I couldn't stop him when he got cuddly like this, but it was one of the things that I loved about him.
"Come on Levi, than we can go out and get some breakfast." I told him.

(Levi's POV)
Lydia was sat in the passenger seat having a nap. We spent 5 days wrapped up in each other and she and I barely slept. Her heat triggered my rut and all we wanted to do was satiate our hunger. She was exhausted. I was glad to have her with me. I decided that she needed the sleep more than I did, so I let her. She looked fucking adorable. It was only an hour or so drive back to Shadow Paw, so we would be back quite quick. I just know that as soon as we get back we'll get bombarded by questions from everyone as well as some teasing. I know that Lyd is absolutely exhausted. I am too, but I know that she needs the rest more than I do. I texted Logan before we left and asked him how things were and all he said that they were preparing for the storm that was heading there way. They didn't know how bad it was going to be by the time it reached Shadow Paw territory. I thought it would be a good idea to head to the grocery store and pick up some extra supplies for the pack, plus it gave my mate some extra sleeping time. I kissed her forehead before I headed into grocery store. I bought basic essentials plus some baking ingredients for Lydia because I knew that if she was stuck in the house for too long she want some things to do. I was in the store for 15 minutes before I went back out to the car. Lydia was still fast sleep looking peaceful. Fucking angel. As I got back into the driver's seat she stirred and turned her body in my direction and I kissed her forehead as she let out a satisfied sigh and snuggled down. I had given her my hoody to cuddle up in and her being so much smaller than me had her bundled up like a little kangaroo. Fucking sweet as anything and all mine.
