This is before Kanta Maa, Paakhi or anyone went to confront Anuj because I personally feel what makes them our "MaAn" is that they don't need anyone else to realize that they still love each other. They can be angry, disappointed, sad anything but never out of love.
Let's begin
Anuj is in Mumbai. As soon as he regained consciousness he messaged Dheeraj to take him to his flat. He is still angry at Anupamaa for not trying harder for Choti, but he was angrier with himself as even now he cannot stop loving his Anu. He is missing her with every passing second. She is in his dreams, thoughts, imaginations. It's like she is having full control on his mind, body and soul.
He was sitting on sofa at Dheeraj's house lost in his thoughts, went in to deep slumber. Anuj felt Anu is holding him tight in her warm embrace, his head on her sternum, he was trying to find rhythm of her heartbeat but it was so hushed as if her heart is not beating at all. Her body was so perished like still water, her face has a sad connotation to tell. All of a sudden Anuj noticed that her body is too cold as if the blood in her veins has lost its momentum. He shakes his head and smiles as it cannot be true what this lifeless body was implying. He called her name out to wake her up but when she didn't respond, he checked her heartbeat and pulse, but it's long gone. He jolted and wake up with a shudder and a steep pain in his heart.
Anuj's POV: He looked into the mirror and said It's just a dream it cannot happen but why not this is how he has lost his Parents out of the blue. But that was one bad thing I cannot link it to everything. Really only one bad thing,,,, my parents left me as an orphan, I lost my foster parents to road accident, lost my sister to bad decisions, lost my love to circumstances, lost my daughter to destiny. I am only good at one thing that is losing my Loved-ones. Is it worth to take risk if I can lose my Anu to luck or not.
With this he came out of his reverie and said loudly " Nahi nahi nahi not this time nahi nahi. Kisi keemat pe nahi. Mere Anu ka choti ko jaane dene ka faisla galat ho sakta hai per Mere Anu nahi. Uska milna bichadna main kismat pe nahi chodd sakta. Mere Anu hai wo meri her tarah se meri and he took a moment to believe what he said that if they actually got married or all of this is his imagination. He subconsciously flipped his phone to confirm if he really had family pic on mobile's back all along with Anupamaa. Yes there she is in my family pic. He places a lingering kiss on her forehead in the photo and murmured "Mere Jaan".

He opened his eyes after kissing the mobile cover for few more minutes. His eyes were lightened up as they have seen a thousand suns rising up. A strong determination was building up in his body language. He knew what he had to do, the thing which he is very good at "Making things Right".
He hurriedly picked up his wallet and looked at his watch. This is choti's school time. Without wasting any further second he went directly to Choti's school. He pampered her with a lot of hugs and kisses.
Anuj : Bachi humesha humesha yaad rakhna Papa Mummy humesha aapke saath hai. Apko kabhi kabhi bhi humari yaad aaye bas ek bar bol dena bachi.

CA: Offo! Papa aap itni senti baatein kyun kar rahe ho. I know my papa loves me the most and Mamma loves me a little more than that most. Per apko ek secret bataoon I love mummy the most, and she very slowly whispered in his ear more than Maaya and thoda sa ittu sa aap se bhi zyada, but I love Mummy the most. Anuj's eyes moistened hearing this. He always told Anu that he loves Choti Anu the most but Anupama never even mentioned how much she loves choti but even than it's her love that transcends through.
After some chitchatting Choti Anu tap on Anuj's shoulder Papa Papa main jau mujhe kal ek week ke school trip pe jana hai main aur mere friends planning kr rahe the.
He nodded and hugged her once more and bid her goodbye with tears in his eyes. As he turned a thought came to his mind that he has to multiply Anu's pain by 26 folds when she has to left her house and her children. The pain is unbearable.
He took the cab and told the driver "Bhayia manzil per le chaliye".
Driver: Le toh chalenge Bhayia per wo manzil ka zara address bata dete toh thoda asaan ho jaata.
Anuj: Mere Anu ke bachpan ka ghar Ahmedabad and saying this he thought to himself if she is this innocent, kind now than what level of innocent and kind childhood she might have lived. Mera cute nahi the cutest baby mera babu mera shona saying this he grinned and asked driver Bhayia aapki shaadi huyi hai.
Driver: Ji 26 saal ho gaye lekin aaj bhi lagta hai kuch hi mahine huye hai, pehle din jitni kaam khatam krke ghar jaane ki jaldi rehti hai. Aapki shaadi ho gy hai Bhayia.

Anuj gazed outside the window, one hand on his heart took a deep breath and softly murmured "Ji bada lamba intezaar krwaya Mohatrama ne"
Driver: Bhayia aap khush-kismat hai warna pyar ke intezaar mein sabko manzil nahi milti
