Mere Anu-Tere darr pe sanam hum chale aaye 🩷

The driver called Anuj twice to wake him up.

Driver: Bhayia manjil aa gy hai aapki.

Anuj took a minute to understand what the driver was saying and which manjil he was talking about, where he is and was surprised as although he is not aware of his surroundings because of deep slumber but his heart somehow was at ease. He came back to reality in a few minutes. His body felt numb. He asked the driver to wait for 5–10 minutes.

The driver waited patiently. After a few minutes passed, he said, "Bhayia kuch kahein bura mat maniyega." Anuj nodded. Driver continued, "Bhayia jinka milna upar wale ne likha ho unhe koi alag nahi kar sakta. Aap poora zor laga dijiye manane mein Baaki Kanha Ji per chodd dijiye".

Anuj took a deep breath, paid the driver, opened the seat belt, unlocked his side gate, and very slowly came out of the car. His heart was beating at an abnormal pace. He bade good-bye to the driver with a faint smile and looked back at Anu's house. He checked the time; it was 3.30 am, and he thought there were still two more hours for Joshis to wake up. He sat outside, taking cover under a slightly curved boundary wall.

All of a sudden, at 4 a.m., an alarm rang inside Joshi  house. He got startled. All of a sudden, hustle and bustle started inside the house. Everyone was moving quickly. He thought to himself: Kuch dhoondhne ke liye uthe hai kya itni subah, ye JOSHi's hai kuch bhi kar sakte hai? Kahin ja toh nahi rahe out of station, kisi kaam se? Kahin mere Anu mujhe chodke toh nahi ja rahi? He frowned worriedly and felt sick at this thought.

He tried to look into the house through the window. The window was covered with a light curtain. The curtain was moving slightly with the wind. He was getting glimpses in between.

He saw Kanta Ma praying in front of Radha Krishna Ji. She was all bathed and ready. Kanta Maa opened the main gate after the prayers and went to the temple. Anuj saw Anupama sitting with her back to the door, and in front of her, it looked like a plethora of utensils that she was cleaning deliberately, mainly a lot of tiffins. He was surprised at the urgency of cleaning them this early in the morning.

Kanta Maa came back as he was standing behind the curved wall, and she was also in a hurry, so she did not look up and went in the house. Kanta Maa called Bhavesh twice to wake him up. Bhavesh was sleeping on the roof. He wakes up and is just stretching his body when he sees someone staring towards the house. He blinked two-three times. His morning mind was not able to comprehend what he was seeing. He very slowly murmured, "Jija ji." He was angry, but yet Anuj is his sister's husband, and everyone knows how much Anu loves him. He is elder to him in every possible way: age, relation, experience. So being respectful is not a choice.

Bhavesh murmured to himself: Naraaz toh hun aapse per janta hun aap Anu se kitna pyar karte hai. Wo kuch batati nahi hai per ander se her rozz tutt rahi hai. Bahut sakun mila dekh ke ki aap aa gaye Jija ji. Per ander kyun nahi aa rahe. Lagta hai Anu ka saamna karne ke liye thoda waqt chahiye. Ye himmat bhi aapko khud krne padegi Jija Ji. Kyunki agar aap sirf bahar se dekh kar chala jaana chahte hai toh main aapko andar bula kar apni behan ke saath zabardasti baandhuga nahi. Aur kahin Anu ne aapko dekha aur phir bhi aap uss ke bina chale gaye toh is bar Maa bhi is dard se humari Anu ko bacha nahi payegi.

Bhavesh went downstairs, and after freshening up, he started cutting vegetables and helping Anu clean the utensils. Kanta Maa started preparing food in the kitchen. Anu stood up after cleaning a complete lot of utensils.

Anuj (in thoughts): In sabko itni kya jaldi hai. Kitni subah subah uth kar kaam pe lag gaye. Ye nahi ki ek ghanta aur sole. Abhi toh Surya Bhagwan ke aane mein bhi waqt hai per is Ladki ko chain nahi hai. Khud ka toh dhyan kya hi rakhna hai Maa ko bhi saath mein pareshan kar rahe dono bhai behan.
