Anu was leaving with the girl gang. Anuj tried to tag along, but Devika and Mukku straight-forwardly rejected the idea as they knew that Anuj would not leave her alone for even a second and they would not be able to have a bit of Anupama for themselves. Anupama left only after stealing a few lovesick glances, pouts, and flying kisses from Mr. Kapadia.
After everyone left, Anuj was sitting in the Shah House lobby, working on his files. After completing a few documents, he took a pause. He yawned and looked at the empty Shah house as everyone was gone to one or the other place.
( This part is Anuj's imagination and no one is present at home at this point of time)
He kept all the files aside and looked at the dining table and imagined Anupama rushing between the kitchen and dining table, serving everyone tirelessly at every meal. He smiled: Meri Anapoorana mere jaan.

Anupama, the figment of his imagination, rushed past him, talking to herself. He smiled: Batayie, Aaj bhi khud se hi baatein kar rahi hai Mohatarma.
Anupama: Taangein kitni dukh rahe hai aaj, Baa bolegi pathar todd ke aayi hai haan Anupama, bukhar toh hi nahi sakta mujhe main estrong jo hun. Chupchap kaam karti reh Anupamaa warna bechare mere Samar ko pata chala toh kitchen mein lagna pad jayega mere saath.

Anuj stood up and turned towards her kids sitting on the dining table to ask them to help her, but it was like he was talking in a different time and space dimension. He followed her towards the kitchen and imagined her cooking everyone's favorite meal. Suddenly, her finger got cut. Anuj rushed, but to no use.
Anupama: Arrey kitna zyada katt gaya, agar bataya toh bolenge mummy akele dal sabji aur roti bana lo, sab kitna dhyan rakhte hain mera, main batati hi nahi kisi ko.
