🥰Yeonkai- Recovering Odi

Kai came home from practice to see Yeonjun freaking out. Their dorm looked trashed. Pillows were on the floor. Papers were strewn about. Every drawer was propped open. Kai asked "Yeonjun...? Are you okay?"

The older looked up with panic plastered on his face. "NO! I LOST ODI!"

"YOU LOST SOOBIN'S HEDGEHOG?!"

"HELP ME FIND HIM BEFORE HE KILLS ME!"

Kai threw his bag down then began looking under the couch. The flashlight on his phone flipped on. Odi was not under the couch. He moved to Soobin's bedroom and yelled "YEONJUN HOW DID THIS EVEN HAPPEN?!"

The older came into the room. "Odi looked lonely so I figured it wouldn't hurt to play with him! I put him down on the bed because Beomgyu called me and then I turned him around and he was gone!"

Kai turned around after tearing Soobin's bed apart. All of the bedding was ripped off. The mattress wasn't even on the bedframe anymore. "You didn't let him get outside right?"

"No! He's definitely in this place! How long till Soobin comes back?"

Kai scrolled through his phone. They texted about it earlier. He just had to find it. "Ah! OH MY GOD!"

"WHAT?!"

"HE'S DONE IN AN HOUR!"

Yeonjun started calling Taehyun. "Hey! Can you and Soobin get us some of that pork belly on the way home? Some sushi and beer too!"

"And why can't you get it yourself?"

"Because... you love me so much?"

Kai ran over and begged "please Taehyunnie?!"

"FINE. Only because Kai asked though."

Before Yeonjun could complain, Kai thanked him then hung up. "Is there any place you haven't looked yet?"

"No! I swear I looked everywhere!"

Kai went into his room to double check there. He felt bad for violating Taehyun's side of the room but it was necessary. "Odi? Odi? It's me! Your favorite besides Soobin!" He crawled around the floor trying to listen for a squeak. Nothing could be heard. He went to Soobin's room again to grab some dried mealworms. A breeze blew across his face. He looked to the right. "Oh god. YEONJUN!"

Yeonjun ran into the room. "What? Did you find him?"

Kai pointed at the open window. "Please tell me you just opened that thing!"

The older stared at the right wall. He was trying his best to remember if that was open before or if he opened it. Yeonjun poked his head out the window and looked down onto the ground. There was a bush and a couple of rocks. "ODI?! YOU DOWN THERE?! THIS ISN'T FUNNY!" He ran outside to search the perimeter of the building. The fall wasn't too far but he also had no idea if a hedgehog could survive that.

Kai didn't know which was worse. Odi being lost or Odi being dead. He grabbed some more meal worms and started to make a trail from the cage to the living room.

Beomgyu walked up to the door and saw Yeonjun crawling around outside. He tapped his shoulder, startling the poor guy. "What are you doing?"

Yeonjun stood up to see if Soobin was behind him. He wasn't. "I lost Odi! Kai is looking for him in the apartment. They went to get food right?" He grabbed Beomgyu's shoulders to shake him. "PLEASE TELL ME THEY WENT TO GO GET FOOD!"

"THEY DID! CALM DOWN!" Beomgyu brushed him off so the older would stop shaking him. He looked up to see the open window. "Oh shit. Do you think he fell?!"
