Chapter 7

Jin was busy having his morning coffee when his mom arrived. He did not expect her but she was somehow happy seeing her. He rushed to the gate of his house when he saw her car.

He was shocked to see Jungkook coming down from the passenger side.

"Jungkook-ssi?" He asked confusingly. He opened the gates and was about to approach her mom when the driver's side opened, revealing her mom.

"Hi, my Jin baby! Come you help us. I was doing some groceries for you when I saw your handsome neighbor in the same place." She said pulling Jin at the back of the car.

Jin glanced at Jungkook and he just smiled at him. He followed Jin's mom to carry all the groceries.

"Let me take care of that, Mom." Jin was shocked when Jungkook called his mom as "mom".

"Mom?"

Mina just smiled at Jin and said "Oh don't be selfish, Jin. He can also call me his mom. He's so cute and nice. I like him. Even for a son-in-law." He said the last words in a whisper, winking at Jin.

Jin was more shocked now and almost spit out the coffee he drank 15mins ago. He continued coughing and Jungkook went to him to check if he's okay, rubbing his back.

"Are you okay, Hyung?"

"Oh don't call him that, just call him Jinnie. He likes it."

"Mom!" He whined when he stopped coughing.

He suddenly felt Jungkook's hand on his back and it suddenly felt like an electricity went thru his whole body. He suddenly moved away from Jungkook and took a box from the groceries and quickly went inside.

His heart was beating so fast but he can't tell really what is happening.

Jungkook helped his mom bring the other box inside his house and went out after, bringing his own groceries.

"Isn't he so cute?" Jin's mom told him while waving goodbye at Jungkook.

"Mom, he's getting married! His boyfriend is pregnant!" He said rolling his eyes.

"What? That's sad, I thought you won't be single anymore." Her mom said pouting.

"What are you bringing by the way?" He asked changing the subject.

"I was thinking of cooking for you and your friends for your movie night tomorrow so I brought some beef and chicken. I'm sure Hobi and Namjoon are excited to taste whatever I cook."

"Wow! Thanks, mom. That's so thoughtful of you. Oh Yoongi will be so happy!!!" Jin said clapping his hands.

"Yoongi is back?"

"Yes, mom! Forgot to mention it."

"Aish you child! You should have told me! I was not able to bring him his favorite fruit from our garden."

Jin took an apple and bit it "it's okay mom, you can bring it to him anytime. He'll be staying for good."

"He will? Did he finally realize that he's in love with you?"

Jin rolled his eyes.

"You're impossible, Mom! You're just shipping me with anyone."

"Because you're getting older and I need a grandchild running around here. Look at your house, it's big but it lacks love. You're very handsome but no one likes you."

"Oh look, Dad said he's missing you already!" Jin said to change his mom's attention and it's always effective.

"You're dad is always so sweet. Anyway, let me go now! Finish your apple and fix these groceries! I'll cook for your friends and put potion on Yoongi's food on Friday! Bye, baby!" She said kissing Jin's cheeks.

When Jin was left he saw a paper bag with a receipt. Looking at the receipt, he realized that it was Jungkook's based on the card used. He immediately took it and went to Jungkook's place.

He was happy that Jungkook was also outside looking as if he was rushing to find something.

"Hey, looking for this?" He asked raising the paper bag.

"Oh perfect! Sorry, I thought I left it at your mom's car. Thank you, Jinnie."

Jin blushed at how he was called by Jungkook.

"Uhm... y-you're welcome. I gotta go and fix the groceries."

"Let me help you! I saw there's a lot."

"Don't bother Jungkook-ssi. I'm used to it."

"No, I insist. Let me just bring these back home and I'll go to your house."

"If you insist. I'll keep the door open. Just come inside."

"Noted." He said and ran back to his house.

Jin also went back rushing making sure that his house is clean.

Jungkook was in his house after just few minutes and went directly to the kitchen.

"Your mom is so sweet." Jungkook said fixing some of the groceries in the fridge.

"She is. And she loves cooking for me because I seldom go to their place. She would sometimes bring me food for a week."

"Looks like this will be a lot for you."

"It is, but she's excited to cook for my friends on Friday. Especially that one of my friends came home recently. She wants to cook for all of them on our Friday night date."

"Oh you have something like that?"

"We do."

"Tae will be joining?"

"Tae?" Jin thought about it. Jungkook was secretly hoping not. "I haven't thought of inviting him though yet, since these are different set of friends."

"Can I join?" He suddenly asked.

Jin just looked at him with wide eyes.
