Chapter 9

Jungkook volunteered to help Jin in cleaning the house when his friends went home. He was busy picking up the trash from the table when he remembered how close Jin and Yoongi were earlier. He doesn't have the right to be jealous considering that he also has a fiance, but he can't control his emotions.

Jungkook cleared his throat and he caught Jin's attention who was currently picking up the blankets he and his visitors/friends used. He looked at Jungkook expecting something from him.

"You and Yoongi?" He asked Jin.

With a confused look, Jin stared at him waiting for a follow up on the question. When it looks like Jungkook will not talk at all, he repeated it.

"I mean are you and Yoongi in a relationship?" Jungkook cleared up. He was surprised though from a sudden laughter from Jin. His laugh has a different sound and he would love to listen to it everyday.

"You're funny, Jungkook. You're like my mom. Don't be desperate for me to have a boyfriend. I'm good being independent." Jin said.

"Your mom likes him for you?"

"My mom likes any guy for me!" He said still laughing. "After I broke up with my last boyfriend, she was actually the happiest because I had more time for them and for myself. When she realized that I am not getting married anytime soon and that she's getting older without seeing a grabdchild yet, she changed her mind about her perspective of me. Suddenly, she wanted me to be married. I got addicted with my single life though and felt like I don't wanna share whatever I have with anyone yet. My past experience is quite traumatic, something that I don't want to repeat. Instead, I just built myself to be stronger independently." He sat next to Jungkook who was attentively listening to him.

Jungkook looked at him and was happy that Jin started opening up to him.

"Did you always like being independent?"

"Hmm, I think so. Not in a way that I don't like people, don't get me wrong. I've always wanted to challenge myself in surviving living alone. I want to learn how to cook on my own, design my house on my own, clean whenever and however I want without people judging me. All these things I can't do when my mom and dad spoil me."

"Why did you choose to live here?"

"I've always liked to live here. It's my goal to live here."

"Are you loving being independent so far?"

"Woah, Mr. jeon! You are asking me a lot of questions!" He said stopping Jungkook. "You wanna get more beer? We can continue this in the balcony."

"Are you fine with me staying longer?"

"Of course! Your house was literally accross the street! You get drunk I just kick you out and you're there!"

Jungkook smiled at Jin. "I'll get the beer. Wait for me in the balcony"

They continue their conversation at the balcony. Jin learned more about Jungkook and how rebel he is but still a loving person.

He realized that Taehyung and Jungkook are childhood friends based on Tae's story, but did not know that they were so close. Jungkook mentioned to him how they were twins from the day they were born since their mothers were bestfriends. Unfortunately, Tae's mom died due to a heart condition and that's how Jimin came into their lives.

Jungkook did not mention much about Jimin which is also fine but also made Jin curious.

Jungkook told him about a boy he met 3 years ago that gave him the reason to go back in Korea.

"Did you get a chance to meet him again?" Jin asked.

"I did. But as you can see, I'm already committed to Jimin." He said sadly.

"Oh...yeah."

They were silent for a few minutes watching the sky until Jungkook saw the telescope displayed at Jin's balcony. "Is that working?" Jin looked where he was pointing. He smiled and nodded. "Can I use it?"

"Sure."

He stood up and helped Jungkook in setting it up.

"Oh this is a nice telescope. I can clearly see Saturn here."

"Yeah. It was kinda expensive but I also liked it a lot that's why I bought it." Jin answered.

Jungkook looked again and Jin gazed at the night sky. It is almost midnight and the stars are very clear in the sky. Jungkook looked at Jin and can't help but be mesmerized by the face he is currently staring at.

"Jin..." he said catching Jin's attention.

Jin looked at him but it was too late to act when Jungkook suddenly caught his lips. He was surprised but did not protest at all. He answered Jungkook's kiss and closed his eyes. The kiss is sp overwhelming, but it feels like so addicting. He did not notice that he was already moaning when Jungkook licked his lips requesting for an entrance. He allowed him and soon their tongues were actually fighting for dominance.

Jungkook's hands were slowly moving inside Jin's shirt. His cold hand left shivers to Jin's body, and Jin just like it more than he should.

Jin put his hands on Jungkook's neck and Jungkook just continued exploring Jin's body using his hands.

Jin suddenly had a blur memory. He opened his eyes and realized that he was kissing a man who will be married soon with a baby on his way.

He put his hands on Jungkook's chest and pushed him harshly, knocking the telescope and eventually breaking it. Both of them were surprised.

Jin just looked at the telescope "This is wrong, please go. I'll be in the bathroom..."

"Jin, let me explain." Jungkook said trying to follow Jin but he stoped Jungkook putting his hand in front of them.

"No, just go. I-i-... you know your way outside. Please go." And then he ran away from Jungkook.

Jungkook did not have a choice but before going out he looked at the broken telescope, he picked up the pieces and just took it with him.

Jin just sat on the floor of his bathroom cursing himself. He doesn't know what happened. He suddenly remembered something, a traumatic day. The day he broke up with his ex when he realized his importance. But whatever he did outside, it is wrong. "Jin, you said you won't do it again. You said you will forget! Why did you do it again?" He just said to himself. He cried until he felt like there's no more tears for him.
