Chapter 34

"Aren't you a very handsome lad?" A man around his 50's said to Jin while he was walking along the island, taking a picture of the ocean. The elderly man also looked so handsome himself and looked like a rich person. "What are you doing here alone?"

"Hello, Mister...?"

"Ah, call me Abeonim." He answered Jin. "I'm with my wife. Would you like to meet her?"

"Maybe later, abeonim." He smiled at the elderly.

"You are really handsome. Your boyfriend must stay with you all the time, or else someone might take you away from him."

Jin just chuckled at the elder man. He appeared to be very kind.

"Don't worry, abeonim, I don't have a boyfriend." He answered with a sad smile.

"Oh...wh---" the elder man was stopped by a slap on his chest.

"Why are you even bothering this young man? Sorry for--- oh my! You look so handsome!" She said upon seeing him.

Jin just blushed but was happy to talk to the two elders who were about the same age as his parents.

"Are you staying here, young man?" The elderly woman asked, still surprised at how handsome Jin is.

"Yes, madam."

"Call me eomonim! We're staying on 1103."

"Oh, that's beside my villa. I was supposed to book your room but I was told it was already taken."

"Oh sorry, young man. What is your name by the way?"

"Jin. Kim Seokjin."

"What a beautiful name for a very handsome man. Sorry about the room. Our son is actually the owner of that villa maybe that's why he got the reservation. We just arrived there yesterday. I would love to introduce you to my son. He's very much single and I'm sure he'll like you a lot." The woman said.

"I'm sorry eomonim, I don't have plans of being in a relationship for now."

The elder was sad by what Jin mentioned.

"Honey, you can't just ask anyone to meet our son. He's old enough to court anyone he'll like." The elder man said.

"And with that thinking that's why he always loses the one he loves." The elderly woman said in a frown.

Jin chuckled at the two. They are a very gorgeous couple. The man is really handsome while the woman is something to behold.

"Why don't we eat together instead, eomonim, abeonim? I've been staying here for 3 days now and haven't tried the lobster from the restaurant nearby."

"Oh good idea!" The elderly man said.

When their order came, Jin was so excited to eat. But when he smelled the lobster, he suddenly wanted to puke.

He excused himself and ran to the restroom. He threw up almost everything he ate for breakfast.

The woman was so worried about him so he followed him. She was not able to enter the restroom but he knocked to check on Jin.

"Seokjin-ah... are you okay, son?"

"Eomonim, I'm sorry... i think i have a stomach flu." He said shouting from the inside.

"Omo! Come outside, son, we'll bring you to the hospital." She said.

"I think I'll be fine in a few minutes. Please eat. I don't want you to get hungry." He said from the inside.

"Nonsense! Stay there. I'll get your abeoji. We'll take you to the hospital immediately."

Jin did not get the chance to respond. The woman ran to get her husband.

When her husband arrived, Jin was too weak to stand already. The man asked help from the restaurant's crew to take Jin to his car.

They hurriedly brought him to the hospital.

When Jin woke up, he was still dizzy but he knows he's not in his villa. Everything is white. The walls. The blinds. The blanket. He blinked once... twice... thrice... until he realized where he was.

He's in the hospital.

"Oh you're awake now, son. You got me so scared, Seokjin-ah." He heard a woman's voice. He looked where it was coming from. He saw the woman.

"Eomonim..." he said. "I'm sorry. We're you able to eat the lobster?"

"Omo! Why are you still thinking about us? You should be thinking about your health. Are you hungry? Do you want to eat anything?"

"No. I'm sorry, eomonim." He said.

"Nonsense. Your abeoji bought food, we'll feed you whatever you want. You can also stop renting the room beside us, you'll stay with us in our villa so that I can take care of you. The villa is spacious with 3 rooms. If you don't have plans of going home yet, you'll stay with us and I'll take care of you."

"No need for that, eomonim. I can take care of myself."

"Don't be hard-headed. I'll take care of you starting today."

Jin was still dizzy. When he reopened his eyes he realized how big his room is. It's like an expensive room. He tried standing up and said "eomonim, this is an expensive room."

"Don't worry about it! You take a rest. My husband already paid for it."

Jin felt like he's getting dizzy again. These two elders he just met earlier just paid for all his medical bills.

"Why, eomonim?"

"You're my son now." She just answered simply and smiled at Jin.

He was not able to ask more questions when someone knocked at the door. They both looked at the door and saw the doctor came in.

"You're finally awake." The doctor said. "Jihyo-nim, good afternoon." He said bowing to the woman. "Seokjin-ssi, we have made some tests earlier. I'm sorry we were not able to get your consent since we cannot wake you up. Jihyo-nim gave the consent since you also don't have any emergency contact. I want you to see the results first before I say anything more."

Jin read the results of his blood test and one particular test took his attention because it was the same one, he had years ago.

He gasped. He covered his mouth in shock and started crying. He is not sure if it's tears of joy that he'll have another child with Jungkook or sadness that he'll be alone again.

"Seokjin-ssi, congratulations." The doctor said.

The elderly woman cried when she saw Jin crying and then ran to hug him. Jin felt like he was with his mom again but this time he can't afford to say it to his mom. Maybe the woman's offer makes more sense.

When the elderly man came inside, he saw the doctor. "Jungkyun-nim" the doctor said bowing to the man. The man raised his hand to the doctor signalling him that he acknowledges him. "He knows now. We'll excuse ourselves for a while." The doctor said signalling also the nurses to go with him. They all bowed to the elderly man and they went outside.

"Seokjin-ah, don't cry. We'll stay here with you, hm?" He said to Jin. "Honey, let's give him time first?" He told his wife.

"No, I'll stay here with him. Is that okay, Seokjin-ah?" He asked him.

Jin nodded.

Jungkyun just looked at them and was almost teary-eyed as well. He decided to call his son to deliver him the news that they'll have an additional person to their villa and hopefully, an addition to their family.

He put all the food he was bringing at the table and left his wife and Jin for now.
