Chapter 32

I know I said I'll avoid angst but... read at your own risk.

Jungkook did not knock on Jin's door that night. He is expecting he would, but he did not. He was fine with it, he thought, until he realized he can't sleep. He called Jungkook multiple times but his phone is turned off. He thought he should check on him but when he saw his house still dark, he was sure that Jungkook is not at home.

He breathes out and just looked at the stars using the telescope Jungkook gave to him.

He checked on the time and it's almost midnight.

He decided that he needs to rest, if he can, as he still has to work the next day.

When Jin woke up the next day, he thought he was asleep for a long time, but looking outside, it was still dark. He looked at the time and it's just 4 in the morning. He decided to jog early to regain his composure and forget about Jungkook. However, he still looked at his window to check on Jungkook's house and found it still dark.

The day went by and still no sign of Jungkook. No call/text and Jungkook did not even went home.

Jin called Taehyung and it seems like everything is normal. Jin wanted to ask about Taehyung but he doesn't want to appear as desperate.

A week passed and he never saw Jungkook.

After jogging one day, he decided to get coffee outside and he was shocked when he saw Jungkook and Jimin happily entering Jungkook's house.

He is sure that Jungkook did not see him. He was just about to go home when he saw them. He immediately hid himself at the back of the big tree near his house. He felt like his heart is being squeezed and broken into pieces when he saw Jungkook initiating the kiss with Jimin, and holding him as if he has this lifetime only to hold him.

He cried. "That's how you should be holding me now." Jin said.

He doesn't know what Jungkook and Yoongi planned but he needs to know right away or else he'll go crazy.

Jin immediately called Yoongi but the latter is not answering his call.

He took his car keys and went to Yoongi's house. When he arrived, he knocked vigorously and he was welcomed by a sleepy Yoongi.

"Tell me what happened?"

"What?"

"Why is Jungkook with Jimin?"

"Jin.. listen... come inside, let's talk."

Jin followed him but with obvious dismay at Yoongi. "what's your plan, Yoongi?"

"We did not initiate the plan yet. While Jungkook was here last week, Jimin called him and he asked Jungkook to pick him up at the airport. I was not able to talk to Jungkook after. I swear to you, Jin. I also did not call Jimin yet. I don't have anything to do with this."

"You're lying. You forced Jungkook to go back with Jimin! You are helping Jimin aren't you?"

"Jin, no. I want to help you and Jungkook." Yoongi said trying to hold Jin's hand.

"You lied to me! All of you lied to me! I hate you!" He said and left Yoongi trying to runaway from him and driving his car as fast as he can away from everyone.

He went home and took his laptop and few clothes. He decided not to go back in this place until he was able to figure out what he'll do with his life.

Yoongi kept on calling him but he did not answer.

He quickly left his house bringing what he needs and locked it right away.

Yoongi kept on knocking at his home but no one was answering. He got scared. He visited Jin-sea's tomb but Jin was also not there. Jin's phone stopped ringing since 30 minutes ago. He called Hoseok and told him what happened.

"Are you kidding me? You know how fragile Jin is when it comes to Jungkook."

"I know and I'm really disappointed at myself right now."

"You should be! I'll tell Namjoon about it and we'll search also for Jin."

Yoongi tried calling Jimin, to check on Jungkook but he doesn't want Jimin to notice that they all know what he was doing. He knocked at Jungkook's house and Jimin was the one who answered, wearing only his robe.

"Yoongi.. what are you..."

"Nevermind." Yoongi said and just went away. Jungkook saw Yoongi and tried running towards him but was stopped by Jimin. "He said he knocked at the wrong door." Jimin said. Jungkook tried his best not to go after Yoongi. He looked so distress but he should not care for now. What's important is that he is with Jimin. He kissed Jimin again and he ushered him to close the door. Everything were seen by Yoongi and he was so heartbroken by what he has seen.
