Chapter 2:

After the day they met, Jin never saw Jungkook again. He would sometimes look at the window and would not see Jungkook's car. Especially at night, but when it's time for him to exercise in the morning, the car was already there.

He was not curious at all, but he thinks, Jungkook is enjoying night life every night. He's young so it's fine, he thought.

Jin is working from home as his work is purely on stock exchange and he's getting a lot of money from it.

He never really cared much about his neighbors. He doesn't even know who Mr. Choi is.

He only has his friend, Hoseok, who visits him oftentimes with his husband, Namjoon. They were living two streets away and they would usually just walk to go to his house, but today they said they'll have to use the car since they'll pick up someone.

Today is Friday and it's usually their movie night either in his house or theirs. Namjoon and Hoseok will be in his house in an hour so he prepared their dinner. Namjoon said he'll bring a friend who Jin knows very well. He's excited and scared because he's not really good with new people.

His bell rang the same time he completed setting up the table.

"Hoseok, Namjoon, come in, please." He said when he opened the door. He made way for them. He was stunned to see another person behind Namjoon and suddenly jumped to him.

"Woah! You're not that light, Seokjin. You need to be careful." The person said but hugging him nevertheless.

"When did you come home, Yoongi?" He asked when he was settled on his foot again. He guided Yoongi to the dining table where the two were already settled and smiling at them.

"2 days ago. Spent yesterday sleeping when Namjoon attacked my house and told me about today's movie night."

"Wow and you didn't even bother telling me?" He looked at Yoongi, then at Hoseok and Namjoon.

Namjoon raised his hands and said "Not me - his idea." He answered, pointing at Yoongi.

"I really wanted to surprise you, but I had to rest. It's a long flight." Yoongi answered.

"He was excited to see you, though. He kept on grinning while we were in the car." Hoseok said.

Jin felt happy seeing his friend again. He didn't know he'll be back this soon but they have talked about it multiple times through their video calls which are consistent weekly.

"Let's all eat and select movies later." Jin said and everyone started eating.

Of course they all appreciated Jin's cooking. He's just really good at it.

"By the way, Jin. I saw that you have a new neighbor at last!" Hoseok said after chewing his food.

Jin gulped his food and drank his wine. "Well... uhm... I met him last week. Did you see him?" He asked curiously about their impression on him.

"Not sure who was he but when we arrived, we saw that there's a party. A lot of people are coming in and out of the house. Probably 5 or 7 cars outside the house, too." Namjoon answered. "Did you get a chance to meet the new neighbor?"

"I--i did." He said looking at his food.

"A family?" Yoongi asked curiously at Jin's reaction but he knows well it's not a common reaction.

"Not sure actually. I met him just quickly. He said his name is Jeon Jungkook. My mom pulled me to greet him and give him half of the teokbokki she bought."

"Is he nice?" Hoseok asked. He saw that Jin's blushing a little while telling them about Jungkook so he was more curious.

"Not sure." Jin just shrugged. "What movie are we going to watch today?" He suddenly said changing the topic.

Yoongi and Hoseok were both curious but in a different way. Although, they know Jin and don't want to press too much as of the moment. They know he'll come clean one of these days. It's not as of Jin talks to anyone besides them.

After watching the movies and playing some games, Hoseok, Yoongi and Namjoon said they'll have to go. Right at Seokjin's gate, Yoongi hugged him tightly, saying how much he misses his bestfriend.

They planned on seeing each other more after Yoongi was able to settle in. They'll talk more about his plans soon, and if he plans to stay longer in South Korea. He offered Jin a coffee date and kissed his cheek before riding the car.

Jin was so happy seeing his friends.

He went right away to the kitchen to wash the dishes. He thought that Hoseok was right, it looks like there's a party in front of his house. Probably a welcoming party for his new neighbor.

He was disturbed in his thoughts when his doorbell rang. He quickly opened his door assuming that it was Namjoon who probably forgot something "again".

"Namjoon what did you...oh... Jungkook-ssi." He said quite surprised to see the younger.

Jungkook looked at him from head to toe as of judging how he looks. Jin was not comfortable at all being looked at like that.

"Jungkook-ssi..." he tried but was stopped when Jungkook suddenly talked.

"Hyung, sorry to ask this late, I just saw you have friends earlier that's why I did not knock. But do you have time for party? There's a welcome party for me organized by my friends and I saw that your friends just went home. Can you... I mean... is it okay for you to probably join us?" He asked while still looking at Jin's lips which are being bitten as of the moment. He can't help but admire those plump lips eversince he saw them.

"Uh...uhm, i don't think my outfit is appropriate." Jin answered.

Jungkook looked at him in shock, "are you kidding me? You look just amazing, Hyung! Just few minutes, I promise and I will walk you back here." He answered as if he's begging.
