Chapter 15

Flashback

"Mom said we'll have to go to Busan since she'll be marrying a very rich person there." Jimin mentioned to Yoongi one day.

"What? How will we meet then? Seoul is too far." Yoongi said pouting.

"We'll find ways. Let's continue our communication." Jimin said smiling at Yoongi but with obvious sadness.

"I love you, Jimin."

"I love you, too, Yoongi. I will continue loving you even we're worlds apart."

"I promise to work well so that I can follow you to Seoul."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

That was 10 years ago. Jimin was only 15 while Yoongi is almost 18. Not really sure what love is, probably, except for Yoongi. He was sure what love is for him. He was sure that he'll travel the whole world just to be with Jimin.

After 3 years, he successfully entered Seoul University, but to his dismay, Jimin planned to go to NYU without any given reason to him.

He met Hoseok, Namjoon and Seokjin in NYU. Jin was their senior but he taught them a lot of things. He was then given a scholarship by Hoseok's company to study in NYU. He grabbed the opportunity since it will make him closer to Jimin.

Jimin was also happy when he knew about it.

They both joined Music subjects together. Yoongi did not know the whole reason why Jimin studied in NYU but then he saw it. It was another man by the name of Jeon Jungkook, who was apparently his step-brother's bestfriend.

"I thought you love me?" Yoongi asked him one day.

"I do, babe! Don't make this hard for me."

"How am I making it hard for you?"

"Jungkook doesn't like me, he's not in love with me. He's using me because his parents liked me. I'm using him to ensure that I won't be poor again." Jimin said to him.

"What are you saying? I am working hard for you!"

"But you are not a CEO and you will never be a CEO!" Jimin shouted at him.

"Is that... is that really you, Jimin? Did you just hear what you were saying?"

"Please, Yoongi! This is for our future! You're the one I still love!"

"How can you say that when you plan on marrying someone else?"

"I need this! Kim's company is failing! Taehyung did not want to manage it. I promised my dad that I'll work on it by marrying Jungkook! It will all work out. I will divorce him after a few years and we'll get back together."

Yoongi's head is spinning. He doesn't know what to do with the information he heard from Jimin.

After a few months he decided he cannot live without Jimin. He forgave him and they still had their secret rendezvous. No one knew and saw them together. Jimin dropped out his music classes and focused on business subjects.

2 years ago, Jimin went to him crying. He said Jungkook won't touch him anymore after coming back from Seoul. It's been a year and Jungkook doesn't show interest in him anymore.

Yoongi was hurt. He did not expect that Jimin craves for someone else. But he focuses more in comforting his love for now. He can deal with his own pain later on.
