Chapter 22

Jin was working quietly when he was startled by his doorbell ringing. Everything was like normal for him by now. Yoongi was also back in his own usual self and Jin was so happy to not see his friend crying.

He quickly went to the door to check on the visitor and was more surprised seeing Jungkook.

"Hi! I hope I am not disturbing you. I just got my laundry yesterday and wanted to take this to you."

"Oh my god, Jungkook. Yeah, sure. Thank you! I also was about to give back your sweatpants and shirt tonight. Come inside first, let me get your clothes."

He rushed upstairs to get Jungkook's clothes.

After what happened, it feels like Jin had been more comfortable talking to the younger. It felt like the wall he created between them, because of Jin-sea's death, was broken down.

"Here!" He said giving the bag to Jungkook. Thank you for welcoming me to your house that day. Sorry, I broke down in front of you."

"You are always welcome in my house, Jinnie. By the way, you can tell me if you're not comfortable with it, but I want to visit Jin-sea."

Jin expected this so he also prepared himself about what response he would say. He breathe out and said "I can take you to her. Probably after my work tomorrow. What do you think?"

"Really?" Jungkook said smiling.

"Yeah. She's still your daughter. Please know that I never intended to hide her from you. It's just that..." Jin was stopped when Jungkook hugged him suddenly.

"I understand. I'm sorry that you mourned for her alone. I wish I was there with you, Jin. I wish I had the chance to carry her. I'm sure she is as beautiful as you. I will always regret that I haven't met her." Jungkook pulled back a little to look at Jin.

"You have the most gorgeous face I have ever seen, your beauty is beyond this world. I always wished to make you mine. But I don't want you to enter my life's mess. Please be more patient with me, love, I'll fix everything."

Jin looked confused but his his face turned from confused to blushing when Jungkook kissed his forehead. He hugged Jin again and tightly this time.

"I---i need to work." Jin said, slightly pushing away Jungkook even though he wants to saty that way for longer. He thought about Jimin and that he cannot hurt anyone.

"Sorry." Jungkook pulled back from the hug. He scartched his nape as if he was suddenly shy about his action. "I think... I--"

"Would you like to stay for lunch?" Jin said cutting him off.

Jungkook was so surprised, his big doe eyes widened more. He was so speechless that he just nodded in agreement.

"Great. I'll just check my emails, you can stay here and I'll start cooking." Jin said, pointing at the couch where Jungkook can stay.

When Jin was out of his sight, Jungkook felt like his heart was about to explode. He smiled to himself and he feels like it's the widest smile he had after 3 years. He is so happy that he was just almost jumping on his way to Jin's living room, while Jin went to his office room, Jungkook presumed.

He is not new to this place. When he stayed here with Jin's friends, he was able to get a hands on things. There is no television in the living room but there's an automatic projector that Jin used to watch movies.

He was looking around since he can't do anything when he decided to look at the photos framed at the living room. He did not notice these pictures before, probably because they were covered by the projector when they were watching movies.

He saw a picture of Yoongi, Jin, Hoseok and Namjoon. The place looks familiar and he realized that the 4 of them attended Yoongi's graduation in NYU. Jungkook was surprised to see Jin pregnant in the picture. They were in the same place that year but they never met! He can't help but admire Jin's physique while pregnant. How he wish he was with him during that time. Jin is so handsome in the picture and being pregnant made him look more gorgeous. He haven't seen someone as beautiful as Jin being pregnant. He would love to touch his belly at all times and probably make love to him while he is pregnant. He shook his head by the thought of that cause it's just not right.

He looked at other pictures and saw Jin with his mom and dad. It was his graduation picture and probably in SNU. He saw his other pictures and he realized how Jin's face did not change much. He is very handsome from the oldest picture to the current ones.

It looks like him and his friends also attended the same university before Yoongi went to NYU because they also had some pictures together in SNU.

His attention was suddenly focused in one picture that has the biggest frame but was kept at the back. It was a picture if a baby. Probably 1 month or less old. He took the picture and he realized that the baby is a splitting image of him. He suddenly cried, touching the face of the baby in the picture. He also has big doe eyes, with nose exactly like his. This is his baby... this is their baby. They were supposedly a family. He suddenly hugged the picture and cried silently. How he wish he can just go back and never let Jin ride the bus on that night. He should have been so sure with his feelings for him and realized he is inlove. Feeling weak, he suddenly knelt to the floor still hugging the picture... when he suddenly felt someone back hugging him.

Seeing Jungkook with the frame, Jin silentlt went to him and hugged him. It might be more painful for a parent not even seeing his child. Knowing from Yoongi, he is sure that Jungkook wanted to be there, he can't be mad at a man he never even knew about his baby.

His heart is hurting hearing Jungkook's sobs. He can't help but cry as well.

"She is looking at us from heaven. She's an angel now."

Jungkook cried more hearing that from Jin.

"I'm sorry, Jin-sea. I'm sorry Jin." Jungkook just kept on saying while Jin just tried comforting him.
