14. ❝𝐝𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐬❞
It's been two weeks since the accident. Amelia was released from the hospital and taken to Rowan's house. the day after, Rowan had sent some people to Luna and Amelia's old house to gather their belongings. once settled in the new house it felt like the old days for Luna. she had both parents in a cozy house.
Rafe and Luna grew closer and closer during the two weeks. they considered themselves best friends. Luna was now seated on john b's couch with her head on kie's lap. with the boys surrounded by them. they went fishing today but didn't really catch anything. the trip ended with JJ and Luna smoking weed while trying to do cartwheels and back flips from the boat. Don't try this at home kids.
"i should get a job." Luna sighed as Kie was running her fingers through Luna's hair. "why? Aren't you like rich." Jj replied playing with his lighter.
"well i was before shit went down." Luna admitted looking at the blond boy. "Isn't your dad like running his own criminal organisation." John b stated dryly causing Luna to glare at him.
"what the fuck john b. no. this is not like those wattpad books pope reads." Luna remarked rolling her eyes while pope looked at her cause he felt offended.
"for the record i don't read mafia books on wattpad." Pope scoffed and Luna blowed a kiss at him just to tease him since he knew that wasn't true. she had caught him many times.
"to not change topic. why do you want a job." Kie asked looking down at the girl. "so i can get my own weed. i mean i could fuck Bary but what's the fun in that." Luna said grabbing kie's hands placing it back on her hair.
"who's Bary." Pope asked. "a hot drug dealer with a golden tooth." She replied and everyone looked at her weirdly. after more random conversation they heard someone enter the house from the front door. everyone turned their attention to the person who just entered the room.
"Lennon? what are you doing here." Luna got up from her spot looking at her childhood best friend. "oh. hi Luna." Lennon greeted her while giving her an awkward smile.
"so i see you guys know each other already." JJ said and got up from his spot to hug Lennon. Luna widened her eyes.
"is that like your girlfriend." she asked weirdly causing everyone to gag leaving her with confusion. "what the fuck. no that's my sister idiot." JJ laughed wrapping his arms around his sisters shoulders.
"oh yeah that makes more sense cause i was about to say ya'll look like those people in the 'sibling or dating.' pictures it really made me uncomfortable for a second." Luna exhaled in relief. the next few hours Luna and Lennon told the whole group about their history and Lennon explained that her mom left JJ and his father a year after she was born so it all made sense to everyone. at around 8 pm Luna left to go home.
