16. ❝𝐌𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐲 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬❞

Luna was walking home with a lump in her throat. she had never been this nervous to go back to her house. she thought of all the possible situations that could happen the moment she stepped into her house. she walked up to her front door and knocked on the door since she didn't brought any keys with her. she took a deep breath and heard the door being unlocked and opened revealing her Dad. it looked like he hadn't slept in days. he was pale and had dark circles under his eyes.

"hi dad." she greeted him quietly looking down. and then something happened she would never expect in a million years. she was overwhelmed by a pair of large arms that threw themselves around her.

"I was so worried." Rowan replied holding her head with his hand resting his head on top of hers. she stayed quite as they pulled apart.

"so where is mom." she asked as she walked into their house.

"your mom is on the couch- hey Luna your mom is just worried about you she didn't mean the things she said." Rowan explained his daughter but all he received was a bit scoff.

"i don't care if she meant it or not she shouldn't have said all of those things so until she's ready to apologise i'll be in my room watching h20 bye." Luna said coldly before walking up the stairs entering her room. she grabbed her laptop and laid under her blankets watching h20. a few minutes later she heard someone coming up the stairs knocking on her door.

"ugh. come in." she groaned and paused the show she was watching. she looked at the door and saw her mom entering.

"hi." her mom said as she entered Luna's room. Luna was takin back when she saw the state her mom was in. she was pale, dark circles were visible under her eyes and her hair wad tied up in a messy bun.

"uh hi." Luna replied as she sat down instead of laying on her bed.

"Luna i'm so sorry for the things i've said i was just worried and you can't blame me that night really scared me and you promised you wouldn't do any drugs anymore aside from weed. you broke my trust." Amelia apologised sadly while sitting down on the edge of her daughters bed.

Luna on the other hand felt a bit guilty. she knew that she was wrong for lying to her mom and she could now understand why her mom was mad and worried.

"i'm sorry too. and please believe me i only did it cause i thought it was gonna be a shit show when you told me we were moving and the only thing that gave me relieve was doing.. you know what. but when i arrived here i met the most funnest, most reckless and nicest friends i could ever asked for. the drugs was just a relieve." Luna explained to her mom feeling extremely guilty.

"i know that you didn't have the most wonderful childhood ever and that is something i never wanted for you. it's just..- as a mother seeing your child almost dying was the most scariest thing in my entire life. i never want to feel like that again." Amelia said as her voice cracked.

"mom, what happened with Daven was not your fault and i know you feel guilty but it really wasn't your fault. i know understand why you did it. your love for dad was too big and i understand. please believe me when i say i will never try to break your trust ever again. your the best mom a child could ever asked for." Luna said with tears blooming into her eyes. she scooted over to her mom and rested her hand on her mom's.

"it's not that easy Lulu." Amelia whispered looking down. "i know- i know i fucked up badly but sometimes there is just a voice in my head that tells me to do shit i don't wanna do. but the pogues are there to help me they really care for me and i'm ready to open up to them and tell them the truth. they are the friends i never had. they look out for me and care for me." Luna smiled sadly.

"your the only kid i have. I don't want to lose that, especially now that we are a family again." Amelia placed her hand on her daughters cheek while rubbing it softly with her thumb.

"im so sorry mom. i swear i didn't mean to hide it from you. it was just hard to stay strong while leaving our old house and moving to a new state with the past we have. im sorry i can't be the daughter you wanted me to be." Luna looked down as a few tears left her eyes.

"hey- hey don't cry." Amelia said as she wiped the tears that were running down her daughters face. "your the best daughter i could ever ask for." Amelia added as she felt tear run down her own face as she hugged her daughter tightly.

"im so sorry mom." Luna cried and she hugged her mother. "i know." Amelia whispered.

"I'm back bitches." Luna yelled as she walked into the chateau where she saw the pogues including Lennon. They all turned around and saw the girl entering the house and immediately they ran up to her and hugged her since they hadn't seen her since the accident.

"oh my god guys stop im fragile!!" Luna obviously joked as the group hugged her tightly.

"are you ok."

"are you hurt."

"how is your mom."

"you want weed."

"uh yes, no, good, hell yeah." Luna replied at all the questions they threw at her. "let's all sit down and i'll tell you guys everything ok." they all sat down and Luna told them everything and they listened to her. that was what she needed. just for people to listen to her. after 20 minutes the group sat at the dock watching the sun set while passing a joint around.

"If oranges are orange, why are limes not called greens." Luna questioned the group as she laid her head on Lennon's lap. "that's what i'm saying it doesn't make sense." Lennon agreed with her.

"Because the colour was named after the fruit. The fruit came first, "from Old French orange-" Pope tried to explain since he was the only sober one there.

"Jesus pope do you know everything." Luna asked him and he proudly nodded his head.

"look i got a better one you gonna wanna hear this." JJ said and took a quick hit before passing it to john b. "oh here it comes." Kie chuckled. "If you smoke weed on a boat, does that make it seaweed?" Jj questioned them while genuinely wondering if it was called seaweed.

"bro you just took shit to a whole nother level. like i can't even comprehend what you just said." John b said widening his eyes. "you know what i'm gonna go home since i loose too much braincells from listening to ya'll talking about this nonsense." Pope stated and got up ready to leave.

"byeee popeioooo." Luna waved at him while laughing. at this point everyone started to feel something due to the joint. "JJ what does your cousin put in these." Luna asked him while inhaling the joint. "i don't know and i don't care. it does the job doesn't it." he replied.

"facts." Luna coughed pointing at him. "If you clean a vacuum, do you become the vacuum cleaner?" John b asked looking at the sky that was starting to get darker.

"dude shut the fuck up." JJ slapped him on the back of his head and everyone started laughing. it was a peacefull night full of laughter.
