"Ok were here." Luna bit her nails from the anxiety she had as she looked outside. the father and daughter duo were know parked in front of Luna's house.
"fucking hell you live in that. you need a fucking gps to navigate your way around." Rowan chuckled causing Luna to laugh. "well good thing for me i'm not even aloud in more rooms other than the kitchen, living room and my own room." Luna joked but it really wasn't a joke.
"Dad are you sure." Luna looked at her dad. "Don't worry nothing will happen to you or your mom. i promise." Rowan cupped his daughters cheek while giving her a small smile. "let's go." they both got out of the car on their way to the front door.
Luna grabbed her house keys and unlocked the door. Daven's car was parked on the front porch but the house seemed very empty. she could hear every foot step she took which made her nervous.
"uh mom." she called out walking towards the kitchen with her dad walking behind her. Luna turned around to face her father "i don't think she's home." causing him to put his index finger to his lips signing her to be quiet.
Rowan grabbed his daughter's shoulders and put her behind him. he had a gut feeling that something was up. Luna on the other hand didn't know what was going on. her anxiety was building up by the minute.
Together the father and daughter duo walked slowly towards the kitchen but footsteps behind them caused the pair to stop their tracks and made them turn around to face a very disturbing looking Daven. The men had a knife in his hands that was covered with blood and so was his white button up. Luna widened her eyes at the sighed and immediately her heart raced against her rib cage.
"it's been a long time since i've seen you. Rowan Madden. after you escaped i've been waiting for you to come back. knowing that you would return for your daughter and wife sake. You don't think I'm that stupid, do you? I always knew you'd come back for revenge. that's the man you are. you have always fought for freedom and unity. maybe that's why it all went wrong. sometimes you need to mind your own business and let go of things from the past. but i guess that's just not in your nature." Daven chuckled while twirling the knife in his hands.
"Nice speech. did you rehearse that?" Rowan laughed. "why the fuck are you laughing were in a serious situation i don't find any of it funny." Luna whisper yelled behind her dad.
"Now i see where your daughter got that big mouth of hers from. that's why she got into such trouble." Daven smirked causing Rowan to tense while clenching his fist. he has been waiting for years to get his hands on Daven as he begs for his life. he just didn't know this would be the day.
