18. ❝𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐤𝐞❞
"rafe let's think this through." Luna panicked and tried to pull him back but he didn't bulge. "i have thought this through." Rafe said calmly. "good so your not gonna pick a fight with him right." Luna gave him a nervous smile. "sure." Rafe replied and freed himself from Luna's grip pacing over to Jack.
"Oh hey Cameron you want some shit." Jack tried to say before he interrupted by mister anger issues. Rafe's expression grew darker. Rafe lunged at Jack, his fist colliding with Jack's nose, breaking it and sending him falling to the ground. "what the fuck men." Jack shouted from the ground holding his nose. at this point a crowd was now present around the two. Rafe straddles Jack, fist after fist colliding with his face. all you could hear was grunts and the sounds of Rafe's fists connecting with the Jack's face. blood began appearing on Rafe's knuckles that came from the man's nose.
Luna gasped and put a hand on her mouth. she couldn't really comprehend what was happening. "Rafe stop he's not worth it." she tried to say calm while putting her hand on his shoulder. she felt how tense his muscles were. Topper runs up to the pair, grabbing Rafe and urging him to leave Jack alone. "Rafe! let's go!" topper ushers, trying to drag Rafe away.
"it's done." Luna glared at Rafe as she helped Topper trying to calm the boy down. the trio walked away from the scene and walked over to their car. Rafe leaned against topper's car while his hands were still shaking in anger. Luna was standing in front of him reflecting what just happened.
"uh Topper find Sarah and bring her home i'll deal with him." Luna told him while biting her nails. "no you think i'll leave him alone. how you gonna go home." Topper strictly declined her statement. "topper let me deal with him and we'll walk or take an uber it's not far. just bring Sarah home." Luna now raised her voice in irritation and topper felt that there was no room to argue with her he decided to nod and got inside to find Sarah.
"you let's go." Luna pointed at him to follow her. Rafe was annoyed but eventually followed the girl. Together the two walked over to the beach. Luna walked closer to the water and sat down in the sand. Rafe took a big sigh and eventually gave in and sat down next to her.
"what are we doing here luna." rafe's voice was quiet and hardly even noticeable. "were gonna cool off." Luna said while hugging her knees and resting her chin on top of her knees. after a peaceful silence luna decided to break the elephant in the room.
"so why'd you do it." She asked the boy turning her head. "why did i do what." he questioned back causing Luna's eyes to roll. "why did you beat him up on my behave." Luna asked again while breathing out the frustration she was feeling.
