The world shook once more, but this time, there was a blinding light. Instantly, I threw my arm in front of my eyes, shielding them. It took a few moments for it to die down, then, the wind picked up again, this time colder than ever before – or maybe it just felt that way, because Nyshard wasn't by my side.

Slowly, I looked around of me and was surprised, to see a grey... nothingness.

Nothingness... except the dark figures, cloaked, tall, long, bony fingertips peeking out of their black coats.

Taking a quick, shocked breath, I wanted to make a step back, but hands wound themselves around my upper arms, holding me in place.

One of the figures came closer, but it wasn't walking... it was flowing above the ground – where no ground was.

A Whisperer.

The Whisperers.

I... didn't know if anyone had ever seen them, if...

       "... Yele... you shine..."
           "... and you see..."

                 "... and you dream..."

                         "... but barely hope..."

Their voices, they didn't come from a particular direction, they just... where there. Surrounding me.

"... there is something you have to know..."

          "... a tiny, important thing..."
                "... everything will come true..."
"... the Whispers are not absolute, no..."

                 "...but your destiny is written..."

"... it already was, so many years ago...."

"... there is something, you have to do..."

         "... a sacrifice...."

               "...one and more..."

                     ".... For a greater cause..."

"... only that by the time, you won't know it..."

                   "...no... you won't..."

"... but everything we did, was for you to get stronger..."

     "...because you need it..."

        "...fight with your heart..."

            "...and your soul..."

                "... more lays ahead..."

                      "... a bigger task..."

              "...a bigger threat..."

       "... you and sirpal..."

"... the light and the dark..."

               "... destiny and fate..."

                     "...one and another..."

               "...a darkness will come..."

"... and it will settle upon everything..."

"Like a cold dust...", I murmured, subconsciously.

           "...she gets it..."

"Don't tell me there's another Whisper..."
