The two quietly made their way into the library. There were only a handful of students there, given most of them were at dinner. Laney and Addison went over to a shelf and started scanning the shelves for a book that could potentially help them. "There isn't much so far." said Addison, still gazing the shelves. "That could be because time turners were invented only 33 years ago." said Laney, picking up a book and flipping through the pages. "Time turners you say?" said Mallory. "Ah! How did you get here?" Addison asked, jumping. "I mean hey, it's you again!"

Mallory laughed. "Yep, it's me again! Anyways, Albus Dumbledore knows a thing or two about time turners, given he's the one who created them. He'd probably be your best resort, although you won't be able to speak to him now." "Why not?" asked Laney. "Not sure, something about Grindelwald. He'll be back soon though, heard he's coming back for a bit tomorrow, though he'll be busy." Mallory said. "Did he not tell your class?"

"Tell our class?" Laney questioned. "Our Defense Against the Dark Arts class! No, I don't recon he mentioned it." said Addison. "Nice save." Laney whispered. "Wow, cool case you got there!" said Mallory, peering down at Laney's case. "Oh, thanks. I keep a bunch of business stuff in there. You know, my ultimate dream is to work in an office." Laney said, lying. "Cool! I bet the Ministry would be impressed. Well anyways, good luck with your time turner research! I'm going off to dinner. Bye!"

And with that, Mallory was off towards the Great Hall. Once she left, Laney cringed. "An office job eh?" Addison joked. "I know, terrible right? Imagine how boring it would be!" Laney said. "Yes, now let's continue how abominable and horrifying offices are later! Right now, we need to focus." said Addison. "Don't forget about office cubicles!" remarked Laney. "Laney, focus!" said Addison, laughing. "Right, yes, focusing!" Laney said.

The two gathered up a few books that mentioned things on time turners and took them over to a table. "I know Mallory said that Dumbledore would be the best option, but we should research time turners anyways. Then we'll at least have a general idea of them." Addison said. The two of them flipped through the pages of the books, writing down as much information as they could find. "You know, we really should have done research before we time traveled." Laney said. Addison nodded. "Yeah, that probably would have been the best approach, but hey! At least we're having another adventure!"

"An adventure that would have us lost in time and space. Who would have thought? Well, at least I'll get to mark this off my bucket list." Laney said jokingly. Addison laughed. "Well, I think we've found all the information we could possibly get." she said, peering down at her notes. "Hopefully Dumbledore will be able to help us. Mallory said he'll be in for a short while tomorrow, maybe we'll be able to catch him!" said Laney. Addison nodded, smiling brightly. "Yeah, maybe!" she said.

Laney smiled and looked off into the distance. "You know, I can't help but wonder if we're meant to be here for a reason. Maybe there's something we're meant to do." Addison shrugged. "Maybe! Or, maybe we just tinkered with time and there's not a reason at all." "Maybe you're right, I guess we'll just have to wait and see." Laney said. "Right, well we best head off out of here now. If this Hogwarts is anything like ours, then the library will close at eleven."

Laney and Addison grabbed their books, put them away and shoved their notes into Laney's bag. The two then made their way out of the library. "I suppose we should head off to our common rooms now. We'll meet back here at 7, then we'll go off and find Dumbledore." said Laney. "If he's here yet." Addison added. Laney nodded. "Yes, if he's here yet." The two said goodbye and made their way to their common rooms. Well, Addison did at least, for Laney went down to the Forbidden Forest to feed her creatures.

"You guys alright down here? Not sick from traveling 91 years back in time, are you?" Laney asked. The Bowtruckles came out of their hiding places and rushed over to Laney immediately. "Here you all are." she said, handing them insects. "You all eat up now, I'll be back to check on you soon. I've got to go feed everyone else."
