Ed's Medical Emergency

Taylor's Pov:

Everything had been going good on The Red Tour or so I had thought ever since Ed won full Custody against his Wife. But what I didn't know was just how hard a Divorce can be on him.

But I did see how hard it had taken a big blow on my Parents. Most Nights my Mom was in Tears and didn't want to be alone so I told her to come with me on Tour and visit me as much as she wanted.

Ed was different at handling things though he would most of the time keep things bottled up on the inside and didn't feel like talking when I tried to talk to him. I had done like he asked and gave him space.

But now it seemed like Ed was trying to distant himself from everyone he knew I didn't know how he was really handling things until about middle ways through the Red Tour.

Everything was going goid so far today when it came to rehearsing. It was almost time for Ed to come out and rehearse for his Show and there literally had been no sign of him. Getting frustrated, I tried texting him reminding him that it was rehearsal time but still no answer.

After finishing my rehearsal, I went looking for Ed.We both had a Tour Bus and they were both close to one another.I started knocking on the door in case Ed had fallen asleep or something. "Ed! It's time to rehearse your Show!Are you awake?"

Still no response. I messed with the Door handle on the Bus and it was unlocked. I found Jupiter on the Couch playing with some Game on her Tablet, but there was no sign of Ed. "Hey Jupiter, do you know where your Dad is?"

Jupiter looks up at me confused at first but then suddenly says "Either in his Bedroom back there or in the Bathroom said he was getting ready to go to Rehearsal but he's been in there a long time".

Crap I thought Ed usually doesn't take this long to get ready for anything. I went towards the back of the Bus his Stage outfit was still laying on his Bed and it hadn't been touched or put on.

Then something told me to check in his bathroom. A feeling of dread came over me and I started to feel sick to my stomach afraid of what I might find. "Ed? It's almost time for you to go do Rehearsal did you forget the time?"

Complete silence followed inside which worried me because Ed was normally talkative even while he was shaving his Beard. But not hearing him say anything back not saying a sarcastic remark back worried me even more.

I pushed the Bathroom door open even further and gasped at what I had saw. I tried to not be too loud so I wouldn't disturb Jupiter. She didn't need to see her Dad this way.

Ed was laying in the Tub and there was Water in it. It looked like he was taking a bath lost track of time and fell asleep. Except normal People who fell asleep didn't have Liquor Bottles close to the Tub he had too many. And a couple open Bottle of some Medication I took a look at the Label without touching it Ed had been taking Opioids, and Stimulants to keep him going and to handle things and suddenly it was catching up with him.He had taken what looked like half of each bottle.

"Oh God noooo".I put my hand over my mouth in horror. I knew first Basic life saving techniques before I went on my first World Tour, but I had never dealt with an actual Overdose before.

I checked Ed for a Pulse he had a weak one so I had to get an Ambulance out here fast. And I had to somehow not get this on the News. I called 911 and I called my own Personal Medic to get to Ed's Bus as soon as possible.
