Checking up on Ed

Taylor's Pov:

A couple weeks went by and I finally got a two month break from Touring. It was September and just about to turn Fall and I had just finished working on some songs for my upcoming Album 1989. I wasn't completely finished but I did have about five songs written already.

Taking a break, I decided to go check up on Ed. I texted him letting him know that I was stopping by to see how he was doing and that I might drop off a care package. A care package is just something that me and my Family always did for someone when they aren't feeling well or just going through a hard time.

Ed liked comforting things, so I packed in a few new books,  chapstick, comforting Baked goods that I had made Ed really loved my Chai Glazed Pumpkin Cookies a recipe I make in the Fall, I even went and bought him new Video Games something he enjoys and that would keep him busy. To finish up the care package, I included puzzle books and new Pens.

I checked up on a few things as I got ready to leave and made sure my three cats were ever fed. You never got to hear the end of it if they weren't ever fed on time. Leaving my place, I got into the Black SUV and my Driver Stuart asked me where  would I  like  to go."To my Best Friend Ed's place". My Driver had worked with me for years and knew who my Best Friends.

I arrived at Ed's Apartment Building and rang the Doorbell  my Security Guard Ben was with me to make sure I wasn't mobbed by Fans or attacked by some Crazy person. Ed came to the door and let us in surprised by my visit.Ed hugged me and I hugged him back it was good seeing him recovering so well and up and about I noticed he had been trying to clean the Apartment which he hadn't been able to do ever since the Divorce.

Ed seemed to be doing better both Mentally and Physically. He told us he had been spending so much time at home that he basically had been writing Songs for a whole new Album for his Fans. He told us he had been going to Rehab and different Drug Addiction Meetings to help him get over his Addiction.

I am so proud of Ed for not letting the Drugs take over his life completely. I also knew that he had been struggling ever since his problems with his Ex Wife. He sure had come long ways since his Hospital Stay. Me and Tree had worked so hard to try to keep his Hospital Stay out of the Media as best as we could and we had just said that Ed wasn't feeling well and couldn't perform until he was better. We tried protecting him as much as we could but a Source let things slip online and Jupiter had found out what was really wrong with her Dad.

Ed was scared if his Ex-Wife had found out that she would threaten to take Jupiter away from him but luckily she didn't. I think she had other things to worry about than Ed and his Kid. Ed knew that he had to straighten his life out if he wanted to keep Jupiter with him.

I seriously hoped that his Ex-Wife stayed out of his Business.She hadn't been in touch ever since Ed had won the Custody Battle over Jupiter. But if I knew anything about his Ex Wife, was that she never stayed silent for too long.
