My name is Audrey hill , and this is my story , i am a normal college girl that comes from a normal family , except my only family is my sister , Vivian
Our father died in a car crash , our mother remarried some wealthy rich man , she wanted us to live with her in Spain , but my sister was old enough to know what's best for me and her both
Before father died , they were already divorced , and our mom chose to let us go instead of taking us with her . I was happy with Vivian 's decision , she knows what's best for me , I wasn't even seven years old when our mother left , so i had no pleasant memories about her
All I remember was her ongoing fights and arguments with dad every night before going to bed , when they were done , he'd sleep on the couch and she takes the bed
When he died , she showed up for the funeral and stayed with us for a couple of weeks , until she finally decided to tell us about her Spanish husband and her intentions of taking us with her
But Vivian refused , she said she'd rather die of hunger than living with mom again and a replacement of dad
So she dropped out of college , and devoted her life to make me happy , she found a job in a big salon , with enough salary for us to live , and I always felt guilty for how things turned out for her
And after almost eleven years , here i was , struggling to live in my first year of college in Bellevue , a town near Seattle where i used to live with my sister before moving out for college
I could see myself as the nerd of the campus, short hair , glasses , bad taste in my fashion style , holding books in my hands all the time and an ugly bag , well I wasn't rich to buy all those things , the money we had was barely enough to buy me books and the university fees
And i was definitely no boy's type
Considering this place was full of rich spoiled kids, one of them had already decided to annoy me for the next four years , her name was Mia Lopez
We take music and history together , but Mia wasn't alone , of course she had her pack of friends , more like pack of puppies who followed around just to get a ride in her Porsche ,she had two minions who were loyal to her , Penelope and Stella
And when it comes to friends , I wasn't good in making those , I'm a bit of a loner , the library was my best friend , but thank god for my roommate Jade , she is the best
As for boys , as i said , no one would be interested in me , I'm nobody's type that's for sure , not that any of them had attracted my attention either , except for one , who seemed a little different , we also take music , history and literature classes together , his name was Kayden Adams
His parents are famous , his mother is an actress and his father is a businessman, that's why all girls drool over him , but that's not what got my attention , he didn't seem to brag about it , more like he hated it , but there was one problem
He was Mia's boyfriend
Which means he's not that different if he chose to date a bully like her , which is why I didn't bother to get to know him , i stay as far as i could from him
As for my dreams and goals , i hope to become a successful businesswoman and own my own company , I haven't really chose a specific field yet but the idea overwhelms me
Another reason for that was to make my sister happy , provide her with her own salon where she could be the boss , get her everything she ever wanted
