New york was amazing , I've only been here once , when i was around seven years old , i even forgot the reason we came to this city

But now that i was here again , i decided to use whatever free time i had to discover it and live my one gossip girl episode , even if i was staying in a hotel and my credit card was so limited

After landing , a limousine was already waiting for us , well , for Kayden and whoever he brings , i swear god has his favourites . I spent most of the flight asleep , and woke up when I felt the plane landing , the ride to the hotel was also silent

We arrived to what it looked like one of the best hotels in New York City , Equinox Hotel Hudson Yards , the entrance was able to make anyone get mesmerised . I bet one night here would cost my entire salary , lucky for me , it's all on Kayden , or mostly his company

Once we entered , bunch of staff came over to grab our luggage , which was two bags , mine and his
" mr Adams , what a lovely surprise , it's always nice to have you here with us " A middle aged man dressed in a suit said as he greeted Kayden and shook his hand

" and what do we have here , she's beautiful your girlfriend " he said as he looked over me , I choke out and let out a nervous cough , while Kayden looked at me , his expression was unreadable , he remained quiet for a moment and we both said at the same time
;" I'm not his girlfriend " ;" she's not my girlfriend "

We stared at each other once while the man in the suit stared at us , confused ;" she's my assistant " Kayden turned to him again and stated , the man formed an
'O' on his mouth , finally comprehending the situation

" well , that makes sense why you reserved for two suites " He spoke again and Kayden lightly smiled at him , in approval . Thank god , for a moment I thought we were gonna have a Rom com movie moment where there was gonna be one room with one bed in this huge hotel

" well , let me escort you two " the man spoke as he began to walk away , Kayden walked behind him and I followed

I entered the suite as my eyes wandered around , my bag was already placed in the middle , the place was better than any hotel room I've ever stayed in , not that I stayed in a lot , but still . Everything was luxurious and shining like gold , the bathroom had a jacuzzi tub, shut up . A refrigerator with snacks and fruits and champagne , well I'm gonna have to pay for those if I wanted them but what the hell ?

The best thing was the view , I could see the statue of liberty from up here , and it looked so small . I felt like I wanna hug Kayden for reserving such a beautiful suite for me , I honestly expected the cheapest and the worst room in the hotel , well maybe he's not the worse kind of jerks

After emptying my bag in one of the huge closets , I ran a bath , I undressed and sank in the jacuzzi tub , so warm and calming , I put on some old classic Spanish music and laid my head back , a green mask on my face , and there I go

Oh I was enjoying this weekend

In the next morning , I was preparing myself to go down and head with Kayden to his meeting and then to the hotel that was being renovated , he sent me an email last night , about the timing , that was all he mentioned , and he told me not to be late

I wore a tight long black skirt , a white top with black lines , and long boots , I put on my glasses and loosened my hair , and I headed out
