Chapter 18

"So you're saying that we're not going to have an awesome roadtrip?" I asked sadly.

"No sweetie, I'm sorry but your dad didn't find any RVs to rent." mom said apologetically. "But we arranged something that we think you'd like."

"What is it?" I asked.

"Well, your dad has a friend who is an owner of a small, private island somewhere near here and your dad asked him if we could stay there for the weekend. Explore, go camping around the bonfire, etc." she explained.

"And he agreed?"

"Yes."

"Huh. Is it safe?"

Mom chuckled. "Yes. Adam has a beach house there too and he's letting is stay there. He also has caretakers and people who will help us settle in, tour us and other stuff."

"Cool!" I said, warming up to the idea. "Can I still invite people?"

"Ofcourse."

"Okay then, let's do it."

"Everyone set?" Dad asked from behind the wheel of our mini yacht. Well, Adam's mini yacht.

"Yes!" we all hollered and cheered as the boat started moving. "We" includes me, Anna, Mom, Gio, Kate, Irwin, Tin, Louise, Xander, Shane, Riley and Ben.

"Man, your dad's friend must be loaded." Xander commented.

"I know right. I'm starting to think that Dad's friend is Adam Levinr." I joked and he, along with Tin and Shane laughed.

"Well, that would be cool." Tin said and I nodded in agreement.

"Uhh does your dad know how to drive this boat?" Irwin asked as he joined our little group.

"Why? Are you scared?" I teased.

He snorted. "Nu-uh."

"Yea, he actually is. He was gripping my hand so hard when we started docking off." Louise piped up.

I smirked. "You two were holding hands?"

Everyone awwed. Louise blushed at what i said while Irwin glared at me.

"What?" I asked innocently. "And tp answer your question, yes, my dad knows how to drive this thing."

"Okaaaay." Irwin smiled.

We took a tour around the yacht and took some pictures. Little chatter filled the boat and before we know it, Dad was announcing that we've already reached the island.

Mikey, one of Adam's people helped us settle in the beach house and gave us a ring of room keys then Mom fixed the room assignments. I was roomed with Anna and Kate.

We started unpackinh and after we unpacked, Mikey gave us a tour around the island.

"There's a small mountain that you can hike if you're up for an adventure. It's a little bumpy but when you see the amazing view. It is worth it." he pointed to a foggy mountain. "There are caves that you can visit too. You could also jet ski if you want." Mikey informed us.

"Can we go visit caves today? Then hike tomorrow?" I questioned my parents.

They both nodded. "Yea sure if that's okay with Mikey." Dad said, looking at Mikey.

"Certainly. Two of Mr. Roster's peiple will accompany you there."

"Mr. Roster?" I echoed.

"Yes. Mr. Adam Roster."
