Suddenly a superhero

The rescue

We arrived at the government base. I snap my fingers and change into Officer John, David looks at me concerned "Are you sure this going to work?" I face him "If it does or doesn't, you're still the getaway driver." I get out of C.A.R and walk to the door and I'm let in by the guard at the door. I walk through the corridors using my X ray vision. I reach a door at the end of hallway and my X ray vision confirmed Mom and Dad were in there. I look behind me no one is there, I snap my fingers and change out of my disguise into my super suit. I kick the door in destroying it, Mom and Dad looked at me I wave "Hi Mom, Hi Dad." Dad walked to me and looked at me "Claire, what are you doing here?" I look at him with a 'seriously' look and say "Selling cookies Dad, what does it look I'm doing? I'm doing my job, and today you finally remember my name." Mom rushed to me and gave me a hug, I would have kept hugging her if an alarm didn't go off. "I may have accidently let them know I'm here." I say sheepish. I push Mom and Dad out of the room to be greeted with several armed officers, I put myself in front of Mom and Dad to avoid them getting hurt. I telekinetically push the officers out of the way, I push Mom and Dad ahead of me, I yell "Run!" They ran and I did too and said as we ran "David and Howie are outside in his car." Mom turns to me "You brought your brother?!" I push her lightly to keep her running and yelled "It's his car, so technically he brought me." We finally reach the exit, Mom and Dad ran out to the car but as I got outside I was given a strong electric shock. Falling to the ground I see a large man holding a taser. Despite it all I fight through the pain and super speed to C.A.R, jumping into the passenger seat I shout "Go!" David did as he was told and immediately drove C.A.R as fast as he could. Howie looked behind us and turned to me "They're following us." I look in the window mirror, we are being followed.

"C.A.R go turbo speed." I say. C.A.R responded "Turbo speed activated." Mom and Dad looked stunned "David, why is your car talking?" Dad asked. Before David could answer C.A.R's turbo speed began making CA.R go faster than ever. I was enjoying myself, it felt like a roller coaster. David and Howie were enjoying themselves too but Mom and Dad weren't enjoying themselves, I see we were approaching L.A fast so I say "Turbo speed off." C.A.R then started to slow down very gently and everyone calmed down. I look back "Mom, Dad you guys ok?" I ask. Mom and Dad looked at me frazzled "Not as ok as we hoped but we're fine." Mom answers. I smile "I'll explain when we get home."
