Suddenly a superhero

Saving the day

I'm at the café in less than a second, I see the big man and terrified people are on the ground through the window. In one go I kick the door straight off the hinges, everyone looks at me surprised "Dude, you are going to jail." I say pointing at the big man. I need to work on my entrance and exit quotes. The man walks to me, he was three times the size of me. "Yeah, I'm so scared of a girl." He was clearly trying to intimidate me. "I'm sorry you say something, I was distracted by your black eye." I say pointing to his right eye. He looks at me confused "I don't have a black eye."

"You do now." I say punching him in the eye. He stumbled back, he recovers and attempts to punch me but I grab his fist, twist it behind his back and flip him on a table breaking it in the process. He gets up and grabs a sledgehammer and runs at me, using my telekinesis I stop him mid swing and lift him in the air. A minute later the police arrive among them was Dad, I let the man down and soon he is cuffed and put in a squad car. The next five minutes was people thanking me which honestly felt very good. As the everyone calmed down the café owner came up to me "Young lady, I want to thank you so much for saving the café and everyone in it, but what is your name?" she said smiling. I never thought of a name, before I could answer her I super speed home.

As I reach the front door I snap my fingers and I'm in my normal clothes again. I come into the living room David and Howie are on the couch with a laptop. They get up and Howie comes to me "Claire, you stopped a robbery, you're so cool not that you weren't before." Howie says trying but failing to flatter me. David shows me his laptop, on the laptop is a news report.

In other news an attempted robbery occurred at Café L.A in L.A this afternoon but a mysterious young lady came to the rescue, apprehending the criminal with some interesting abilities as your about to see in this security footage. There was footage from the café of me fighting that guy, even I was impressed. Shown in the footage the girl leaves without revealing her name.The criminal has been incarcerated and the owner of Café L.A would like to thank the mystery superhero for her heroics.

David closes his laptop and both boys look at me "Wow news travels fast in L.A, that was only ten minutes ago." I say surprised. The boys look at each other. Howie looks at me "When you were staring into space before, did you see that robbery in your brain?" He asks pointing at my head, I put his hand down. "Yes, I did." I reply. David looked excited "That's awesome, did you see this?" He says punching Howie in the arm. Howie yelled in pain, I shake my head "I can only see danger not my brother being a jerk."

Howie looked at David smugly which was a mistake. David punches Howie in the arm again and pushing him down, Howie sits on the ground rubbing his sore arm. I look from Howie to David "Have you ever tried not being obnoxious?" I say lifting Howie off the ground.

"Yeah, that stopped after you were born." He replied sitting on the couch calling his girlfriend. I look at him surprised "David, my life is in danger of being the government's property. Get off the phone with Sasha!" I say frustrated. David looks at me and points to his phone "I broke up with Sasha, this is Jade."

I snatch his phone and hold my heat finger to it, melting it. The boys look at me in shock "Claire, no offence but sometimes you can be really scary." Howie says blocking his face. I look at David who throws his arms over his head, I get up and say "I've had a bad day, I'm going to bed." I start to head to the lift, Howie turns to face me "But it's only 5 o'clock in the afternoon." I shot him an icy glare, he immediately cowers. I hop into the lift up to my room, once there I click my fingers and change into my pajamas and hop into bed slowly drifting into a deep sleep.
