It's important for you to understand that the righteousness of God is not a package that can only be shipped to certain countries. It's universal and not reserved for a type of people, it is written that all who are righteous will live by faith. This was made possible through Jesus Christ who died so that both Jew and Gentile (anyone who isn't Jewish) could receive the Word, salvation, righteousness, and grace.
There may be churches that tell you different, but this is coming straight from God's Word.
Now, moving on to the faith. The faith that Paul is speaking about in this scripture is the gospel which speaks the truth about the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes in it.
When you have that faith and you agree with the truth, the righteousness of God is revealed to you. This righteousness is not based on how much work you do, it's based on your faith.
So let's tie this back to the beginning.
We do not have to be ashamed of the gospel because we have faith in God's power to bring salvation to anyone, regardless of skin color, race, ethnicity, hair type, degree, occupation, location, etc. Through the faith in God, you live righteously because you were made righteous in God's eyes simply by accepting His Son (the gospel).
