Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well.
Romans 12:4‭-‬6a NLT

You have been given the grace to do amazing things with your gift. The gift has been given to you for the purpose of glorifying God and edifying the body of Christ.

Confusing?

Think of it like this:
God is making this milk tea.
The believers all come in separate packages:
The milk
The tea
The straw
The ice
The glass
The sugar

When you mix everything together, you get one body---one glass of sweet milk ice tea. You can't have that drink if the milk decides that it doesn't want to blend with the tea or decides that it's going to be a different kind of milk that the recipe calls for.

In that same sense, God made you who you are because you're vital to the masterpiece that He's building. If you decide not to use the gifts that He's given you, you act out of what you were made to do.

There is only one you and God made sure of that. So be who you were created to be and do what you were created to do.
