Spikey Haired Idiots

Chapter 1

It's Evening, and after a long hard days work, class 1A decided to band together to make an awesome gourmet dinner. Through lots of running and bustling about in the common room's kitchen, curry, beef stew, and katsudon is being cooked, onigiri is being made, and Rikido is making one of his fluffy cakes. Among the rushing around, Bakugou finds himself chopping vegetables for everyone once again. With his lightning fast cutting skills though, he's finished in just a minute. With nothing better to do, Bakugo finds a wall to lean against as he watches everyone work.

Uraraka carrying a freshly made platter of onigiri, takes it to Deku who just finished helping Kaminari with the curry. "Deku could you take these to the table?" "Yeah, of course!" But as she was handing it to him, she quickly went through the plan she made in her head. She was going to just casually kiss Deku on the cheek. No big deal right? She could just play it off as being friendly, should things go awry. And so, "Thanks, Deku! You're so helpful~" she leaned forward and planted one, right on his cheek. For a moment everything was silent. She did it. She couldn't believe she did it. Wh- omg she made a mistake. In front of everyone, omg what was she thinking?? Only some of the students saw it, just a forth of the class. (5) And their silent shock as they simultaneously stopped what they were doing made anyone who didn't see it silent as well. Deku had his unbelievably shocked smile face on, his brain was trying to process what just happened. Then their faces went red. The initial surprise everyone else had was over, and now all who saw it erupted. And those who didn't, erupted with questions of why they were freaking out.

"OMG, OMG!!"-Mina, *GASP*-Hagakura, "WHAT WAS THAT FOR??"-Kaminari, "Woah."-Todoroki. "What?!?! What happened?!"-Kirishima. "URARAKA KISSED DEKU!"-Mina, Hagakure, and Kaminari. "OMG!!"-the rest of the crew. "DEKU YOU LUCKY BASTARD!"-Mineta. "Everyone! We must remain calm and civil mannered!"-Lida. Uraraka attempted to get everyone to calm down and move on from it with the help of Lida to no avail. "Come on guys! It was just on the cheek!! I was thanking him! Right Deku?" Deku still stood there like a plant decoration with the exception of, "Ahahaha..~" He was as brain dead as Kaminari overusing his quirk. He was no help.

"Dekuuu.." The intimidating, condescending growl that echoed across the room was enough to snap Midoriya (Deku) out of it. Bakugo who was leaning against the wall was now standing with a look like he was about to charge at someone. He saw what happened. And it wouldn't have mattered if he didn't, because everyone made it loud and clear. How could that twerp be the FIRST ONE of class 1A to get kissed by a girl? Does he think he's better than the rest?

Before Kirishima could jump forward and talk sense into him like he always had, surprisingly to everyone Mina got there first, with a sly smile on her face. What was she up to?

Mina, standing dangerously in front of the ticking time bomb, (who would have gone off at Deku if it weren't for someone getting in his way.) got herself ready to see what she could pry out of him. Unusually brave to face an angry Bakugo like that, but where she could squeeze out the hottest of tea, (especially relationship stuff) she just couldn't help her self. Bakugo was far enough away from the kitchen area that talking in a slightly below normal voice would go unheard from the others. Mina, knowing that, in just a slightly lower tone so no one else could hear, "So, looks like Midoria got to be the first one to get moves made on him." Her face was still suspicious, even if she was really good at hiding intentions. "Move.. out of my way..." Bakugou was shaking with rage. Mad enough to not even be able to yell. He was just about to blow raccoon eyes face up when she said, "You could still beat him."

Bakugou was a little taken aback, and hesitated. This was her chance. "All Uraraka did was give him a kiss on the cheek. I mean, you can't be first anymore but you can still be better~" What? What was raccoon eyes on about? She was sounding more suspicious by the second. All he was mad about was that out of everyone here, DEKU had to be the first one to get a girl to like him. Bakugo never cared or wanted to have a relationship of his own, but he sure as hell is gonnna kill Deku for thinking he's so great to be the first to get his own little girlfriend. *tsk*. Seizing the silence that hung in the air when Bakugo was thinking, Mina continued, walking just to the side of him as she spoke. "Blowing him up won't change the fact that right now he's better than you. And it would be sooo easy to just take that away..." Bakugo's face was twitching more as he listened. Why was he listening? Before he could speak, Mina kept going. Now walking slowly back and forth from behind him, her little speech sounding like a toxic voice in his head.

At first when everyone else saw Mina run up to Bakugo, they waited anxiously to see what was gonna happen. Kirishima knew that Bakugo would just blow up on Mina instead if she didn't move. Only Kirishima could convince him to calm down. Little did anyone know, calming down wasn't what Mina was doing. She was egging him on. Keeping him hesitant as he listened to her words. Kirishima started forward to get Mina out of there before he exploded figuratively and literally, but someone caught his arm. Todoroki. He shook his head lightly, indicating that they should just watch how it plays out. "Are you crazy? I gotta get her out of there!" Kirishima half whispered, to keep Bakugo from hearing. "But maybe you don't. It looks like she's got it covered." Kirishima looked back, contemplatingly... He didn't like it, but maybe Todoroki was right. He would have blown up by now if she wasn't handling it fine, right? He still wanted to go over to him just in case, but he could see the curiosity on all of his classmates faces, and resisted.

The only one who truly knew what was going on was Jiro. Who had unnoticingly stuck one of her earphone jacks into the wall and was trying to hide the horrified but also somewhat amused  look on her face.

After a little time of Mina being over there, people started chitchatting while still watching the two. Ranging from asking Uraraka questions to whispering about what they could be talking about? It had only been like 30 seconds, but Bakugo still stood there with her. As the others watched they couldn't help but notice that the more Mina spoke, the more infuriated Bakugo looked if that was even possible.

"Show him. Show him that he's not the mr. hot stuff that he thinks he is." Mina knew she was just talking nonsense, she didn't think that way of Midoriya. But she also knew that this was nonsense Bakugo could believe. "You could do better, all you have to do is kiss someone~ For real..." At that, Bakugo snapped out of the angry haze of hypnosis he was under and spun around to meet Mina's eyes. "WHAT⁉️" His voice boomed and everybody watching flinched. What did she say to him? Again, before Bakugo could  say or do anything else, Mina was quick to act. "Oh, I never pegged you for the kind of guy who'd chicken out before.. Nevertheless admit defeat?" Bakugo did a lot of crazy things, but he wasn't stupid. He couldn't let her get in his head. "Shut.. up. I know what you're trying to do..." Whispers of, "What's he saying?" and "I don't know..." were being shared around. "Oh? Do you?" Mina started. "Then you know I'm right. But who could you kiss? If you kissed a girl, she would slap you and call you a pervert. Maybe a boy? But there's only one boy close enough friends with you that they wouldn't yell at you for kissing them. They'd just be confused, so guess it's gotta be them right? Kirishima?" Bakugo couldn't believe how much pinky could run her mouth. Okay, now he was going to blow her up. "You talk too damn much, who cares what you think?!DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO‼️" He raised his voice at the end so it was heard by everyone. "Yeah you're right... who cares what I think? In the end it's up to you. Do you want to be too chicken for a kiss? And let Deku take the win? Or do you want to make a move. It's time to decide. What do you want to do?"

Through clenched teach Bakugo spat to himself,"Damn it..."
