The guardian of Rohan (Eowyn x Male reader)

Chapter 6 : Unexpected Journey.......

A huge firework explodes ever the party field below, showering the crowd in sparks, which disappear right before they hit the Hobbits. A lot of Hobbits dance, eat, drink and talk with each other.

Elion was enjoying the food at the party, eating everything, knowing that he might not have a chance to eat in such quantities in his life. He also meet Bilbo,who seemed like a nice man,and surprised by his age. The atmosphere felt totally cheerful and so full of energy that it had the boy totally at ease, although he suddenly began to think about his home and the people close to him. How will the king be? Has he improved? Eomer went out looking for him the day he disappeared? and Eowyn? ......

Perhaps Elion made the mistake of not returning home, and save himself the fright of others the day he returns, but it's not every day you meet a wizard and he offers to teach you lessons ..... of whatever Gandalf taught him.

Elion was happily watching Gandalf lighting rockets until suddenly two hobbits approached Elion. "Hey, you!". Elion turned and saw the hobbits who looked quite alike but their faces were different.

"Will you help us launch a firework?!" The hobbits looked quite anxious ,but Elion smelled something .

"Did you ask Gandalf's permission? Why can't you just ask him?"

"Well, if we ask him, he won't fulfill our whim.". Elion would refuse ,but for a few seconds he paused to think about his little "talk" with Gandalf about him and the fireworks,maybe it was time to turn the tables on the wizard."Follow me."

The three cautiously approached the fireworks cart,Gandalf get's some more fireworks from his carriage, laughing and having a good time. Just as Gandalf goes far enough away the trio of troublemakers would approach the carriage and then Merry would peek out to watch Gandalf ,while Pippin and Elion would start searching through the fireworks. "Hurry!"

Elion would at first grab a common one to leave the cousins satisfied,but then he would notice the firework with a dragon's head. "Mr.Tuk take that one." Elion pointed at the firework and with all haste the hobbit hit his target and then the three quickly got into the tent behind them.

Once inside the tent, Elion was watching out for anyone approaching while Pippin prepared the firework.... and just as Elion turned to see what the hobbits were doing he noticed that he was lighting the firework.

"WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING?!". Elion asked loudly but unnoticed Pippin lit the firework's fuse. "Done!"

"You're supposed to stick it in the ground" Merry fought with his cousin and suddenly they started pushing the firework at each other. "It's on the ground!"

"YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DO IT OUTSIDE!" Elion exclaimed,which made both hobbits turn to look at him,but before they could do anything else,the firework ignites and flies off with tent included . Everyone around turn towards the explosion and watch. Merry and Pippin are knocked back onto the ground, their faces black from the explosion.

"Oh boy"

The firework gets high into the sky and explodes into an array of sparks. The crowd starts to clap and cheer as they watch. The firework then turns into a dragon, and it flies down towards the party field. The hobbits run away in fright, screaming.

"Bilbo? Bilbo, look out for the dragon!"

"Dragon? Nonsense! There hasn't been a dragon in these parts for a thousand years."Frodo pulls Bilbo to the grownd, the dragon flies over them, barely making it over the field, before exploding into a mass of colors. The hobbits cheer and clap, Merry and Pippin watch with stunned but satisfied faces, yet Elion was nowhere to be seen.... well....
