Lux was surprised someone actually had the balls to try to leak the little ice skating trip her and Jinx took. Of course they were taken care of pretty quick after making such a violation of the contract they signed.

No one had time to screen record it or save it, or at least they hadn't been dumb enough to repost it.

So, some how, Lux was able to go back to school without any worries. Sure there was still someone out to get her on the loose, but she'd be extra careful not to give them any material.

There was only one semester left to get through anyways. Whoever did it, probably Ezreal, wouldn't be lucky enough to get anywhere near her after graduation. Hopefully Jinx would come to her senses and realise Ezreal was just out to get her.

About Jinx.

Lux didn't really know what to expect. Jinx said she wasn't gay, but it kind of felt like she might be since they've kissed twice now. Apparently Jinx initiated the first one too. And Christmas Eve, it wasn't even half assed. That was a full on kiss.

Maybe she just didn't know what she was doing. If Lux had used any amount of brainpower she wouldn't have done that. She just wasn't thinking. Maybe on purpose but whatever.

Besides, Jinx didn't like her like that.

Even if she was fully thinking it might've just been a whim. There'd been plenties of times Lux wanted to kiss someone, but she obviously never said it or did it. Jinx was a little bit odd. In a good way. But still.

Lux just stuck with that being the reason for the whole thing.

Jinx would be stupid to like her. For one, she knew her well enough to know she was not someone who could be liked romantically. Also Lux had just told her she could never love anyone or be in a relationship. Jinx was also smart enough to understand that.

Mostly, Lux just needed to keep herself in check. Which she she wasn't feeling as confident as she thought she would.

She let no thoughts of her own feelings slip into her train of thoughts, and would recite songs in her head to distract herself. It worked. And hopefully would continue too.

She knew every time she was around Jinx she would forget everything she told herself not to do, so she would be sure to keep it at the forefront of her mind.

No thoughts of romance. No doing anything that could be considered romantic. And no- well maybe just a little flirting but that's just what friends did. And it was harmless fun.
But only if Jinx did it first. She was still going to be careful not to overstep. Even if Jinx was queer, they were just friends. It would stay that way.

   Before classes were resumed, Lux decided it was best to go to Jinx before, so that she didn't think Lux was actually ignoring her. Everything had to remain the same in front of people, and with the way things were left, Jinx might get the wrong idea.

  As always they moved back into the dorms the over the weekend. Saturday was spent actually doing that and talking to people she'd ignored all of break. She made her excuses, told her lies, and said absolutely nothing of Jinx.
For once she actually lied when saying her break was boring.
