𝔓𝔯𝔦𝔫𝔠𝔢𝔰𝔰 𝔬𝔣 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔨𝔦𝔫𝔤𝔡𝔬𝔪

"WELCOME, Academians Freshies Students! As part of the Academy's opening this year, all students in the first level are expected to act according to their level," stern announcement of the head mistress, who was standing in front of students.

The brilliant light coming from the ceiling hall created the impression that the ocean had risen to the sky, and I was unable to contain my awe.

"Everyone is reminded that any form of belittling, putting down others, or arrogance is completely prohibited in this school." The head mistress continued in a monotone voice.

"You will be trained to use your powers righteously and responsibly. Remember that magic and superpowers are useless if they are owned by garbage people," she continued.

"Anyone who uses their strength to commit acts of violence will inevitably become an ordinary person, weak, unarmed, and unable to even defend yourselves. It's only a reminder that you have the option to disobey, but you should do so only after carefully considering the consequences of your decision, and you should be ready to deal with the results of it."

"Disobeying may be a freedom for seomene, but I apologize to say that it is against the rules of this school.

"I hate the fact that power is too poisonous," I whispered as I remembered the death of my mother.

A fire spread over the ceiling, changing the sea image to burning cloth. At this moment, bits of burning cloth dropped to the ground that causing panic among all the students except for the headmistress and higher level students, that's what I noticed.

Just a show.

"To stop the fire from spreading, water and ice are needed!" The two person shouted.

The focus of many eyes was on the two people standing next to me, a guy and a woman. The similarities in their faces make me confident that they were twins.

There was a brief moment of silence as everyone watched what the twins were going to do, but a voice cut them off before they could finish.

"Don't worry, it's just a show." There was a voice coming from the flickering flames as well.

The majority of people on the first floor screamed when they saw a woman's face take shape in the fire.

"Truly amazing, right?" Another voice behind me said. So, I turned to face him after hearing his voice. A tall young man drew my attention when I looked at him. Unbeknownst to me, my thoughts began to smile for no apparent reason.

The fascinating man next to me was holding a sword with a blue gem in it, which indicated that he was already at a high level. The young man is tall with gray hair, has a masculine voice, and captivating blue eyes.

Unexpectedly, a bell rang...

That is the sound of my heartbeat as I became aware of the unusually rapid heartbeat I was experiencing at this time. It's like one portion of my body is not functioning properly.

"Too ordinary," I finally replied in a sarcastic tone.

"Okay, anyway, if you don't mind, may I ask your name, Miss?" inquired the man.

"Be cautious about who you trust..."

I looked far away, Walker is right, I had to take extra care with even the smallest details.

"The color of your sleeveless dress suits you," he said again when he noticed that I didn't respond to his query. I could tell from the sound of his voice that he was disappointed with my attitude.

"Thank you," I answered briefly.

"Anyway, Seddie, that's my name."

I have also introduced myself because I will definitely introduce my name to other people, but that is the only thing I can reveal about my life. It is still clear in my mind why I am here and that's for the justice of my mother's death. I'll make sure I'm the one who ends the mess he made, whoever was behind my mother's death.

I suspected many people in the kingdom of possibly betraying my mother and father, but the act was clean. There was no evidence or trace left, apart from the standard poison that weakened and the caused of my mother's death.

My father still remains the king of the Kingdom of Wazarfs for the past 20 years until the present time, so killing my mother was definitely not just about her throne as queen. I know there is something deeper that I need to discover.

"I'm Finn Frost, a wizard." He introduced himself to me and then offered a sweet smile.

"Finn, you really like innocents and young ladies." I frowned when I heard a man approaching our place. He is small, dark, and has monster tattoos on both arms. He has thick eyebrows and thin lips.

"Finn Frost's specialty is being friendly," another man said, approaching us as well. It has tall, thin, and has long hair and many accessories on different parts of his body.
